Would definitely not advise this for your first Samsung you will be disappointed. Stick to the latest in the S series at any time and happy days. The S series have always been better than their equivalent iPhone in my opinion for a whole host of reasons, granted some years it has been close. Only advantage with iPhones is that they hold their money better for when you sell it on, this is down to 'popularity' of Apple and the fashion statement which is largely down to how much better they looked than their rivals when the smartphone wars began years ago. However, most high end Samsung phones now look as good if not better than the boring iPhones.

I've had the Fold-2 for about 6/8 months and, for the most part, love it. The small screen on the front made using the front screen a bit limiting. I wish this new version was just a bit wider that could allow for the better/bigger front screen, while also allowing for a bit of bezel on the front so we can close it without touching the screen/lunching some app or something. Today I ordered the Z-Fold-2. There's about an $850 discount if you have a qualifying trade-in. I think at Samsung.com they're offering $800 trade-in plus an extra $50 credit towards the Buds-Live or whatever else you want to order. Re storage: I mostly use the cloud (G-Drive), so I've never had an issue with storage limitation. Re the crease: I never see/notice the crease unless I actually look for it. Reading documents on my phone is much easier (which is actually the main reason I originally got this). Plus, its a pretty fun conversation piece wherever I've been. Fun way to meet people. I highly recommend this phone. Great job Lisa.

the prices are outrageous, I just can't justify it spending that on a phone with 2 screens plastered together. I guess if there's a real business case for it I understand, but for me I use it as a communication tool primarily I just don't need it

@@Cenot4ph Yes... I use it for work 80 to 90% of the time, and need to read emails and sometimes documents when I'm on the go. I don't spend money on other things (no monthly on-line gaming or other platforms, etc.), so gadgety things are what I splurge on. Other than the price, I'm looking forward to it. We'll see.

Something I would really love to hear from you as a nearly full time user of the Fold - how comfortable do you feel putting this in your pocket and walking around throughout the day? Not physically, but more in terms of worrying about pocket bits effecting the screen, it’s durability after sitting down with it still in your pocket multiple times, etc. I love the *idea* of this phone, but I’m so hesitant because I feel like I’ll have constant low level anxiety about treating it like I would an iPhone with a screen cover on it.

Great video as usual. I think this is a nice update to a revolutionary phone. But I'm kinda irked by the comment about 128GB being enough according to Samsung. The whole point is that it's not just a phone - it's a tablet! And while I don't need much storage on my phone, I definitely need lots on my tablet. The number of PDFs and books and other documents and the like I want to keep on the phone from the cloud is significant - and to me this is a reading device first. BTW happy birthday to your mom! (I saw the calendar notification ... I'm assuming that actually is your calendar.)

Using spen on the fold 1, fold 2, and flip will damage the screen. Itll take many many years to get a foldable phone with a screen strong enough to handle an spen.

I get mine tomorrow, but I have to say that I'm disappointed with the downsized storage and camera module selection. My Fold 1 has 191GB of 512GB in use already. I just don't get why they couldn't at least give us micro SD storage. And while I get that the zoom module on the Note 20 Ultra is larger, I'd have been fine with a thicker device to get solid optical zoom performance. But yeah - I've no doubt that Samsung will make these two items available for the Galaxy Z Fold 3 Ultra 5G + Magnum edition next year for $2,800. :)

honestly speiclaly with 64gb iPhone x i'm more than happy with my note 10's 256gb. can't believe that's the starting option! I'm happy with my note's storage. with my iphone x i was barely close to the mark but i could always remove my photos from my phones and keep the google photo ones. on my note 10 after 9 months I have 94gb ish full. I have a TON of photos and every single one is kept on my phone and not the cloud

Hey Lisa, the bundled accessories seem to be different by region. In UK the Samsung website says you will also get USB C wired earphones and an aramid case (not the one with kick stand). Not major but better than nothing! Major YAY for 865+ though!!
