I just switched from iPhone to the Z Fold 5 and I don't think I'm ever going back to iPhone. After 10+ years with iphones I had been bored with my iPhone, upgrades only consisting of camera upgrades which to me someone who rarely takes pictures those upgrades are useless. I have so much fun with my Z Fold, from customization, the huge screen, the big battery I'm in love! And I've only had it for 3 weeks lol still need to learn a lot of tips and tricks

I honestly really enjoy the narrow outer screen on Fold 5. If you do a couple of settings in the keyboard settings, you can make it perfectly usable.

My friend I'm 8 days into using my z fold 5 and today i didn't just drop it, I slammed it into the tiles in my room on accident after gaming heavily and multi tasking. I will tell you now I was devastated after spending over $3000 on the phone, ear buds and watch 6 and I must admit after inspection. My device did not endure a single scratch or deformation and surprisingly it's so incredibly durable!! I'm so happy with this device and it's endurance! I truly hope it holds it's physical integration over the next few years!! I will be having a leather wallet case and wireless charging dock for my phone and accessories by next week I can't wait! I love this device!!

I will never understand how people can complain about a crease on a device that folds completely. It’s physics , there is nothing you can fold flat, with this weight , stay that way most of the time and doesn’t have some type of crease. Great video.

I'm on my 3rd Fold, being an early adopter. It's improving all the time. I just upgraded from the 3 to the 5 and it's just an awesome phone for work. I can RDP onto my servers from anywhere, if there's a problem - the screen size is just so convenient. Cracking device!

@@ThisIsE Never had a problem with the internal screens. The external screen on the Fold 3 stopped working for answering calls after dropping it on concrete quite hard quite a few times (get a cover). Phone still operational though, but had a free upgrade, so went for the 5.

All of my computers,tablets are all Apple and cant go wrong with them but as for a mobile device im in love with this freaking fold 5. One handed use when folded and BAM! Unfold the sucker when i wanna enjoy social media, browsing. Not to mention all of the discounts Samsung gave me when i ordered it.

I've had the fold 5 for a month now, and it's by far the smoothest running phone I have ever used. Never lags, and it is great in your hands. Multi-tasking king. The crease on the screen doesn't bother me at all due to samsungs high quality oled display. Battery life lasts me all day. Worth every penny. I recommend it to anyone.

Nice review! I just got an S23 Ultra earlier this year, so I'm not replacing it anytime soon, but when I DO replace it, I'm 99% sure that I'll be jumping to the Fold 7 or 8, whatever it is by that time. Totally agree with the thoughts on the front screen 🙏 it’s thin and easy to use for one handed things. Anything more. You open it. It’s a fold. We want to use that when we buy it. Others with larger screens are praised for having a normal sized sceeen. And that it reduces the times you open it. But isn’t the the point of the fold to be. Folded lol. Utilise that large screen as much as we can. But have a functional outer display for general use cases. Like quick calls and texts ect. I like that you’ve flagged this thing screen as a posi. Not a neg for not being bigger. Which imo. Makes for a weirder footprint when opening. Z fold 5 got it right I think!

Exactly the video we needed to explain about the narrow screen ... there are 2 sets of audiences one who want a narrow screen for one hand usage and capability to be a big screen when unfolded and the other who want standard phone screen size experience on the cover screen with the unfolding big screen

Great video! Enjoy your new ride! (I miss Europe and the cars) Similarly to your experience, I tried the Fold 3 and just couldn't get into it. Went back to a slab (S22 Ultra) and really enjoyed it. I got the Fold 5 a few weeks ago and have absolutely been loving it. I worries about the folded size, but like you, it makes so much sense and really enjoy using it. I have honestly gotten so used to it that now my wife's 12 PM feels weird and big and clunky. This thing is an absolute amazing device! Great job E, from another E.

Looks like you will go for fold5. Iphone 15 pro doesn’t bring anything good. I was thinking to switch from 13 pro max to 15 pro. But after the release and hearing all the issues thinking to try fold5 once. I am using apple since iphone 4S. I had tried Note 8 for a month but had to go back to iphone 8 plus. Now once again Fold5 is the reason I go back to samsung.

I have to say the Z5 with the Spen case is great, the case doesn't add a lot to the phones footprint. I feel like it's worth the kinda crazy $100 price but it's the only case worth using other wise leave it naked and enjoy the premium feel of the phone. I also love the thin front screen and don't understand the hate.

My fold 4 was solid but s23 ultra has it all. However the fold5 is better than all the phones imo. I don’t use social media I only use KZbin fr . Gaming , real camera , google, music , Amazon , some zoom calls , talk text and Uber delivery. So I’m not a heavy user but I use it a lot and I will probably stick with fold for sure . The ONLY downside of Fold 5 and also most of the galaxy high end devices is , u pay premium price just to get it shafted not even a full month later. Like how 2 weeks ago i got that phone for 3650 bg lev from Citytel with 2 official cases for 100 each , one with the pen and another official one with the kickstand. Today i saw a deal for 300 dollars off of the phone and cases for 50 % less... just a 2 weeks after i got it. This is bad for real thou. Samsung wants their product to be seen as premium and at the same time they do this big promo deals for 300-500 dollars off a month after release, which makes their product re-sell value goes down way 2 fast. They already got the high prices , they got the good and premium hardware and they also polished their OS and offering almost as much support in terms of years as Apple. Why on earth they make ppl feel cheated with insta deals for such amounts and so close to release is beyond me , but i know it does feel dumb at least to me, like they kick their first buyers in the teeth.

to be fair it is well known there are lots of sales for Samsung. it is up to you if you want it right now and pay Premium or wait a bit and pay a more reasonable price. also worth to wait a bit since the phone gets some fixes over time.

I use a screen cleaner, and only if its wet enough, I wipe with micro fiber... I would never wipe dry!! And Gboard does have a split keyboard feature like Samsung Keyboard.

I think with all of the improvements, I’m still not as convinced to go for it. I heard a lot of screen breaking after a year or 2 because of the fold design. I understand you enjoy the Fold 5, but has it because your daily driver now? Reason is I see a lot of these videos but with the reviewers forgetting to remove their Apple Watch. I bought the Oneplus 12 over the Fold 5 because I can't find any KZbinr talk about how much it will cost to replace the inside screen. I don't have $300 lying around for insurance either. Don't want to buy the Fold 5 and later have to pay an arm and a leg just to fix the inside screen. My first Android phone is the Oneplus 12. I'm a iphone fan boy since the iphone 3. Fingers crossed.
