The new chip is actually surprisingly good. I didn't expect much but with my daily use I don't really have to concern or look at the battery for whole day long. 6-7 hours on screen i got after all optimization since been using for over a week now It's really good. I used s24 ultra before this so you know how much I'm happy with this year foldable phone.

7 to 8 hours of SOT is solid and, for the majority, enough for a full day. I would still prefer a bit more for the power users and to allow for degradation over time, so Samsung needs to move with its rivals and give us 5000mAh in their fold. But it is enough for me, so it would be fine. My main issue remains the outer display, which is still too narrow for me, so I went elsewhere for my Fold. The Magic V2 is a significantly better experience than my brief spell with the Galaxy Fold 4.

@@Josh_Quinonez Yes, I think most Galaxy Fold users would love it. The better aspect ratio, thinner, much better value for money (£1200 v £1900 for Fold6), bigger battery (9-10hrs SOT), fast charging, less glossy inner display, free charger, screen protector and case, and as good cameras. I understand there is no global release in the US, which we got in the UK, which does not help.

@@andyH_England i have the magic v2, great phone hardware wise, outstanding battery life, the only issue for me is the software, it didn't convince me at all. i would trade the better battery life for the better oneUI on the fold6. but i will wait for the rumored fold 6 slim, because the v2 spoiled me with how thin and light it is.

Initially, my battery would say 1 day 4 hours but i did a factory reset a week ago but i was dumb enough to not think twice. I had to wait till the sleeping patterns matched my battery. Now it went from 1 day 4 hours to 21 hours to 19 hours. Any help?

Try to desable samsung healt, i have up 16h to 28 after that

You must not use it much... I have to put it on the charger around 10-25% around 7-8pm every night. And that's after it gets a little boost of charging on my drive home

I went to a boxing event recently and I had my phone on the majority of the time to take photos and videos and when I left I was like at 70%. We got there at 4 and left around 9:30. Was pleasantly surprised because my fold 4 would've been at 20% by then lol. Was on LTE the whole time.

I personally really love the screen ratio on Fold6 cover screen. It really possible to use with one hand. And it's not that tiny, lol. It's just perfect. If you like bigger screen then just open it. Sigh.
