I bought the ArmorAir as i dont care about hinge protection. I preferred the sleeker and thinner design. Im going to slap on an ESR magsafe ring on the back so i can get magnetic charging/accessiories. Great review, bro!

They were thinking logically. Very few of these Fold cases, in particular the carbon fiber ones, leave the front display usable when the front case is on. They are cut exactly to the size of the front display. BIG mistake. I can never get the edge gestures (e.g. Edge panels, home swipe to switch apps) to work because I can't actually touch the edge of the screen.

Yes. I bought the Kevlar for my Fold 5 with Hidge Protection and I have a Thinbourne front case ( lost back piece ) . Using both and the front case (thinbourne) looks identical

It has a precise fit so it should work with any case. But I will find out here in the next couple of days when my other cases arrive

I was so excited when I found this case until I saw you review. It could be the perfect case for those who love thin cases. How there is no front cover..... I think it is so stupid to provide only the back. If they provide a front protection the will just have the best Kevlar / carbon fiber / lightweight case! That's all what we need.... I used to have spigen slim armor, very to cover the phone but to thick. Naa, I am so frustrated to see no front cover. So frustrated that I'm commenting.

@srbell67 when using this case, no. I've actually gotten pretty comfortable carrying it around with just the back piece and the front screen protector. But I do have another case I'm going to be making a video on today that has both the front and back and their own screen protector as well

Although it has been applied superbly (not like OnePlus Open). I feel something, but I don’t see a screen protector with my naked eyes so maybe maybe I’m just feeling separation between the glass ??

The one thing I truly dislike with foldables is the cases. Speciell the from protection which is a super flimsy small piece that is stuck on my phone with adhesive tape. That's just not good at all. I would like someone to invent a better case design för fold.

Question, do you worry that the hinge cover will catch on the edge of the protector when opening or is it not possible with the design? I couldn't tell.
