Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 - HONEST Review After 1 Week🔥🔥
#samsunggalaxyzfold6 #galaxyzfold6 #samsungzfold6
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 review: a safe bet sequel. The best version of Samsung’s book-style foldable - but the Galaxy Z Fold6 isn’t the leap forward fans were hoping for in light of rapidly improving rivals. The new Galaxy Z Fold6 inherits squared-off styling from the Galaxy S24 Ultra, adds the latest custom-tuned Snapdragon silicon, and a double dose of Galaxy AI software smarts.

The fingerprint sensor on the side button is far superior to any on-screen sensor, incl the S24 Ultra. Great choice by Samsung, sorry.

I don't mind either. I find the on screen finger sensor easier in certain situations. But regardless they're both great.

About Indisplay Finger Scanners I would have to disagree with you. With screen protectors those indisplay finger scanners are not as quick or efficient as the fingerprint scanner on the power button is.

I was locked in with the fold 3 for 3 years and just upgraded to the 6. The fold 3 was the best phone I invested in and I don't regret paying a premium for this phone. Stoked to see how far they've come since then!

I only had my Z Fold 6 for only two days and Im trading it in for an S24 Ultra. The inner screen is too fragile for my liking and I don't want to have to baby my phone. Also the camera doesn't compare to my S22 Ultra that I previously had. Too much glare in the sun and doesn't feel as durable as the S Ultra. The hype went away quick for me. I'll wait for them to really give it an upgrade. For the price it just isn't worth it.

Foldable phones are cool and all but are they really worth it right now until apps are compatible with the inner screens? Apart from watching sport games or Netflix I don’t think I’ll have much use for the inner screens at all.

People really hating on the narrow front screen yet most of you can barely one hand a normal phone. I have massive hands and even i can barely reach corner to corner of the fold 5 without adjusting my hand position. A wider front screen seems like it would be a nightmare to use one handed without increasing drop rates. Compared to my note phone i have only ever dropped a fold once. I think maybe 6.4 is as large as they should go before the form factor becomes cumbersome. The other thing people dont realize is samsung sees way more warranty calls by way of being a bigger brand than most, they probably want to keep it narrow due to how fragile the phone is when dropped. Theyve probably reduced the amount spent on phone replacements or repair just by the form factor alone.

@@MrTagoe-xw8yg I was just thinking about it from a business perspective, what would make a company as large and advanced as samsung risk being called outdated or allowing other Chinese brands to seemly outdo them? The only answer that made sense was money. They obviously spent time researching other form factors, my guess is they found that people in the test groups dropped their phones more. It's probably also the reason they havent adopted some of the newer battery technology because of the issues they had years ago with phones catching fire. They probably want to develop their own method for silicon carbon batteries too instead of having to turn to chinese manufacturers. Just expect the cost to go up to 2200 dollars if they rush to release that new battery technology.

@SayanOfRagnarok well there's also a couple of other things - foldables are not the future (especially the Fold as opposed to the Flip) as they had hoped so it's not seen as worthy of significant investment - foldables aren't making money - the product category requires Apple to introduce a foldable so that the entire segment gets revitalised and agreed, after the battery fire scare, Samsung will forever be incredibly careful about trying something out of the box. that whole episode changed the risk appetite of the company imo
@SayanOfRagnarok
@SayanOfRagnarok 2 ай бұрын
@@MrTagoe-xw8yg I don't really know what makes you believe the fold segment requires apple when they havent really been on the bleeding edge of a new form factor since the beginning of smartphones. They do amazing things with their chips and software. I do think the competition would renew interest from wealthier investors but in reality foldable phones will continue to get cheaper and eventually become mainstream. Why would anyone want a regular phone when in the future for the sane price you can get a fold? I don't see them going away after the investment samsung has made
@SayanOfRagnarok
@SayanOfRagnarok 2 ай бұрын
@MrTagoe-xw8yg I think the reason foldable don't make much money is just how much samsung gives in trade in and promos. My fold 6 is coming tomorrow, and I'm basically getting the phone for free between trade-in, promos, work discounts, and cash back offers. Even the flip doesn't get as good of a discount. I think samsung gave massive incentives in order to gain market share, but they trapped themselves because they got everyone used to massive deals for 6 generations. I think if they want to start making money, they'll need to cut back for the 7, especially if they make significant improvements where the phone becomes more innovative/better tech inside. Currently, the fold costs less than most mid tier phones with discounts. I just don't see that as sustainable for them if they want the money to invest in r&d

It's 3 mm wider screen not 1mm (5.7cm to 6cm) Still very narrow and annoying to use for my usecases (keyboard is cramped, some apps and websites display wrong) Much prefer the Honor Magic V2 or 3's screen (6.6cm screen width)

The only thing I'd disagree with here is about the fingerprint sensor. Ever since I tried the outer one on my On8 years ago, I can't go back to in-screen. Being able to swipe down the nav menu with the sensor at any time is so convenient! Especially on folds, which have what feels like a taller screen and thus feels harder to reach up to the top to get the navbar down when only using one hand.

You are going to miss that Note 20 Ultra. No more external Micro SD Card storage. And the Fold series is not as durable as the Candy 🍫 Bar style phones. Do you want the Eye Candy of the Fold or the Durability of a Note Style S24/S25 Ultra. Hopefully this could help you make a better decision. All the best for your 👍
