The speakers were apparently upgraded on the fold 6 but there is no confirmation from Samsung on the product page on their website. The main camera apparently remains the same but the algorithms have been tweaked slightly to improve low light performance. Again, there is no confirmation from Samsung on the product page. Other big tech reviewers have already speculated in their own hands on videos regarding the upgraded hardware but there is nothing on Sansungs official product page to confirm this. When you do your review please examine these claims to see if they are true. Also, make sure to look at the Samsungs official product page before you review the product so you know what new features (if any) to test. This is why flossy carter remains the best tech review that ever lived!

I tested the speakers for this video but differences seemed negligible vs Fold 5 so I didn't bother putting it in the video. I have more camera footage to share in my next fold video within the next few days. Flossy is a great source for info if you have time for his long videos. I do my best to keep things as trimmed as possible to save people's time and share only what's really useful. Thanks for watching!

While I understand the appeal, longevity trumps innovation. Having to worry about all the issues (screen peeling off,black line of death, ribbon cables wearing out, bristles coming loss) this device will have over its lifespan is so overwhelmingly off putting. And while Samsung care would seemingly address these issues it’s still a massive indicator of how a large company such as Samsung would gloss over these issues. And the probability that one if not all these issues would manifest in 3 years if not sooner doesn’t inspire confidence to buy this device.

I tested it out in 2 stores today holding the Fold 6 next to my Fold 5 and we recorded it. Had 5 people standing next to me and all of them commented that the crease is still exactly the same

Fellow fold user here guys so don't shoot me. I have a suspicion that what's not being taken into consideration is that when we bring out our Fold 5s and previous iterations before the 5, we are comparing units that have been worn in for at least a year, sometimes more. The crease always looks less noticeable when the device is brand new because it has had nothing like the amount of opening and closing as the devices we take out of our pockets to compare with. I had the Fold 3 and currently the 5

I have a fold 5 and will be keeping it for a few more years. There are not enough changes to make it relevant to pay my contract off and get it. May be if the outside screen was same as a normal phone ect then I would. But I'm now used to the smaller screen.

6:40 any comments on the crease of a phone that's just been unboxed are a bit disingenuous. The crease definitely becomes worse after 1-2 weeks of use. At least we've seen this on previous fold models. When I switched from the 2 to 4 the latter also had a very shallow unnoticeable crease the first week.

Begrudingly upgraded to this phone from the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, it was on it's last legs and I wanted something a bit more fun and out of the box, I could have gone for the S24 Ultra but wanted in on the foldable scene - amazing how samsung got 4 models in and decided that once again, innovation goes out the window and to follow suit with all it's devices and release the same damn thing for an extra 50 bucks - still, hopefully I don't regret it in 6 months when the OP Open 2 comes out, just can't get on with Oxygen OS lol

Hello:) I would like to ask for advice. I have been using s10+ for 4 years, I am completely satisfied with it, but I already wanted to change to something else. I was looking at 15 pro max + I need a tablet (well I need a bigger screen for work and study) and then I saw that the new Fold 6 was released and I was interested in it, and for the first time, because I have never paid attention to Folds. And I thought that, probably, it could replace both phone and tablet and it would be convenient to have one gadget for everything... The question about the cameras is a little confusing (although I am satisfied with mine cameras, but I heard that Apple has a better camera, so I started to think about switching to this side 😅). Nice color choice. Only 1 battery cycle in so far but very happy with 8 hours SOT (mixed use outer/inner screen). Got 7 hours SOT on my Flip 6 so battery is promising for Snapdragon 8 gen 3 on these foldables

Its convenient considering Samsung will give you for $1000 for it if you trade it in. And Samsung smart switch makes it very easy to change to a different device, plug them together and wait 20-30 min for everything to transfer

Hello:) Thanks for the interesting video review. I would like to ask for advice. I have been using s10+ for 4 years, I am completely satisfied with it, but I already wanted to change to something else. I was looking at 15 pro max + I need a tablet (well I need a bigger screen for work and study) and then I saw that the new Fold 6 was released and I was interested in it, and for the first time, because I have never paid attention to Folds. And I thought that, probably, it could replace both phone and tablet and it would be convenient to have one gadget for everything... The question about the cameras is a little confusing (although I am satisfied with mine cameras, but I heard that Apple has a better camera, so I started to think about switching to this side 😅) and plus its durability. I have watched many foreign videos and comments, many people write that they have folds of previous series for 4-5 years and everything is fine. But I would like to hear your opinion. Thank you)

The weight saving alone will be worth it. $900 trade in for the 4. I would.

@@jajupa78 I agree the weight change is huge, but the trade in is only around $300 which I think not worth it, I think I can squeeze one more year, thanks for the comment.

Can you confirm it opens completely flat ?! I tested in several stores and the demo Fold 6 ALL do not open up completely flat unless you specifically force it

I've played with it today and yesterday at best buy. The ones I tried out opened completely flat. The phone in person is soo slick and premium
