For real. I have the iPhone 15 pro max, but decided to buy this one and I paid more for my iPhone than the flip6 and it has more storage than what I paid for with the iPhone. And I bought both of them through pre-order and i got more deals with Samsung. You don’t even get deals with Apple.

With Canada I know you can get free Samsung care for a year when you pre-order which is a good deal with how much more you pay for the phone there than the US. With the US I saved $220 with the $120 they took off for pre-order and another $100 from applying my capital one savings.

As a soon to be first time Z Flip owner I truly appreciate those practical examples you showed using the phone. Most reviewers showcase the phone for folks who have already experienced previous versions. But this will be my first and it's nice to know the fingerprint sensor sits where my thumb would naturally be. Also cool to see how the unlocking features will work in a practical way. I'm coming from iOS too 😂

I love Samsung phones, but i hate that they keep raising the prices without giving us much change. I probably wont ever buy the flip series because the more delicate screen and higher cost isn't worth it over just getting a regular phone, but for the fold, id be ok with paying the higher price if they gave us the Ultra cameras. built in S pen, and a slightly bigger outer and inner screen

A very efficient and very pretty phone to look at. The video made me want to like all the phones of the Samsung brand. 💝💝💝💝What made me hate Samsung brand phones is that here in my country Samsung accessories are very expensive. I have one with me the S8 and since then the screen is broken I misplaced it because the screen only cost already the price of another phone here. Even the screen of iPhones are cheaper here than Samsungs.so here. Reason why I hate Samsung brand phones But this video only made me want to love again and again ♥️

I have the Flip4. Just ordered the Flip6 today through Verizon. Got a $400 trade-in for my Flip4 (if you order directly through Samsung they have a $500 trade-in value for the 4). I ordered from Verizon just for convenience. They are also offering a free upgrade to 512gb vs the standard 256gb. I'm looking forward to it primarily for the new lens upgrade. Photos and videos from the Flip4 are disappointing, especially since Samsung is known for its superior lens technology. In addition, the new AI capabilities (which were not even mentioned in this video) are outstanding. I'm heading to Europe in a few weeks and look forward to using the new language AI capabilities. One more thing that was not covered in this video: the vapor chamber for heat diffusion. It doesn't sound like a big deal but it is. The Flip4 gets VERY hot when connecting to bluetooth devices or Android Auto. The vapor chamber is designed to disperse the heat. All in all a very nice upgrade to an already great product.

Does the screen get damaged after usage... as there were quite many complaints regarding damage of the screen with usage and time of flip z 5 since it is a flip phone.. also is there a visible line in the center of screen and does that bother while using it?

I was planning to get this, but after checking it last day, I changed my mind. The reason is "not a good camera and lower screen brightness (inside). But if you only care about its "flipping design and AI," then you are good to go.

Razr will be some tough competition. Outer display on those look really nice. Price is right too. But Razr historically had bad cameras for me (watch my razr 2023 review to see horrendous video). Excited to compare them!

I have a Note 9 since it 's release, it still works, but the speakers are awful, the screen has some burns of different apps (you can see it slightly), the battery drains quite fast, it's back is shuttered and there are scratches all over the front with breaks on the corner, buttons function loosely, camera has black spots because of the shutter on the back and the device is overall pretty slow. Do you think I should finally upgrade? and if so should I get this Flip?

I sprang for a flip 4, was deliriously happy with its pocketability, then the hinge failed 3 months out of warranty. So all I want in another flip phone is a stronger hinge. Sounds like the improved dust resistance may be what can make that difference.

Camera upgrade in this fleps is a bit possible because of the compact and small size of the phone the possible upgrades is bigger battery & faster charging & performance, but i am looking for a little increase in the width and it will be perfect 👌

I'm thinking about moving from S21 Ultra to Flip6. What concerns me if the camera quality is simillar between those two? I mean if pics taken by Flip6 would be at least as good as onesntaken by S21U? And the most important thing: can we run all apps on the outside screen on Flip6 (as it can be done on Motorola 50 ultra)? Or we need to open and close Flip6 everytime we want to do anything?

All apps can run on the outside screen. And you are definitely missing out on a 10x optical zoom on this compared to S21 Ultra. Flip 6 can zoom 10x digitally but the quality isn't as good. Also you'd sacrifice 100x zoom down to just 10x zoom. No S Pen support or DeX either. If you can live without those compromises, this will be an enjoyable switch for you

I was forced to buy this phone today lol 😂 I've had my eyes on this phone since the first Z Flip you reviewed. Last night I dropped my Galaxy s21 and killed the screen. I use the phone to run my business and I needed 256 GB and the Verizon stores by me didn't have anything in stock more than 128 (conspiracy lol). The only thing they had in stock with 256 was the Z Flip 🤷‍♀️ so I didn't have a choice bc I needed it replaced immediately and couldn't wait a couple days for another phone.

It gives me a headache. I'm a Flip5 owner and although I'm very happy, the purchase bonuses available in my country are giving me a headache and thinking about switching. The original price in my country for the Flip6 is $1,245. If I trade in my Flip5, I'll get a $450 discount plus a $214 "Trade-in Flip6" bonus, so the final price of the Flip6 would be around $581, which is already something very hard to ignore. Ideas, advice? :D
