Idk if to someone has happened yet, when I saw through videos the new flip it didn't seem very interesting to me, but yesterday I went to the mall with my friends and saw a sample, I FELL IN LOVE WITH IT. I love the ZFlip 4 so far! Came from an iPhone SE 2020. I decided to splurge this year, and finally got myself a phone I really liked, got 2 yr Samsung Care too since it's my first expensive phone that I got new. I had the flip 3 and with Samsung's preorder bonus I got the flip 4 for so cheap. the phones are actually durable imo, I dropped my flip 3 a lot and with a Casetify case it always felt fine. the flip 4 feels a lot more durable than the flip 3 as well but I understand, phones are expensive and not being able to get one every year is actually the smart thing to do anyway (save money!)

My Z Flip 3 suddenly had a microphone problem after using it for almost a year. I had to send it for repair and luckily it's still under warranty. And idk if its bcause im using it as my secondary phone, but i think the battery life is not bad at all (one of the main thing ppl always complain about zflip series) And if u ask me, i find the color also look way better in real life than in many of unboxing videos, esp the bora purple one! Now i can honestly say i dont regret my color choice lol

Excellent review! Do you think the flip 4 will last at least 5 years with regular use (social media, texting, daily use)? Or should we just wait for the s23 series? I noticed a lot of z flip 3 users have two phones (an iphone as the main phone and the flip only for aesthetic purposes) so I am a bit concerned since it will not be wise to spend that much money. I had the flip 3 and it lasted me about a year before I heard popping sounds at the crease. My friend had hers for longer and the screen at the crease started separating. I used the phone for daily and kept the phone flipped open when just sitting at the desk to minimize all the opening and closing. I ended up switching to the S22 for durability but I really liked the flip 3 when I had it. I think 5 years won't last but if you like the aesthetic and are okay with trading in phones more frequently I would still recommend it.

since the z flip is a newer technology and phone type i dont think it will last 5 years 😅 the hardware will last but the phone crease is a problematic area over time. i wouldnt keep a flip for more than 2 years especially bc of that + every z flip so far has had good improvements that make it worth upgrading every time. at least samsung has good trade in deals to help with that ! if you dont want to be constantly upgrading or you dont have much money to spare for it then you should go for a normal phone and save yourself 😅 i love my flip tho. i just dont think right now it has 5 year durability

Hey let me help answering, i saw one in real life and i think it’s more beige with the hint of pink? On brighter light you can definitely see the pink, but on darker light it would be mostly beige imo.

The z flip is a pretty nice phone. The Samsung folding phone z series is more meant as a a proof of consent and with their folding phones they are pretty premium for the price and they are getting better more premium and refined. Unlike the s series where Samsung tries to cram premium specks onto their phones. Do expect it to be super fragile though because Samsung does try to always do things first where as Apple doesn’t because Apple usually dosnt do stuff like thing and though Apple isn’t the first, when they do something they tend to do a good job at it and make it to meet their high standards ensuring their products are refine and seem less. hopefully when the iPhone 14 is out you can make a video on it. The 14 pro series is rumored to switch from a notch to a hole punch. And maybe an iOS 16 video since iOS 16 has a redesigned Lock Screen with more customization like Lock Screen font, color and Lock Screen widgets. I highly recommend when Apple does announce it to at least go for the 14 pro since the regular regular iPhone 14 besides better specks is going to be expects to be fairly minimal and if you want iOS 16 I think there is a public beta from Apple though if you’re using beta software there may be some bugs and if you do it make sure to backup your phone just in case whenever it’s to iCloud or To iTunes via it being connected from your iPhone to your Mac
