@lcxbx : Yes, whenever you create a new text message, you will have to type in the contact's name or number you want to send it to (unless you start the message as a 'reply' or from the phonebook). In this case with Quick Access, the first box highlighted is the "send to" box so straight away you can type the name of the contact, then press the down key to start your message and press ok to send it, if you wanted to be quick on the qwerty keyboard :)

@viswas009 : There's no specific way to adjust sensitivity, this is a resistive touch screen phone which means it relies on pressure to work - so try to keep your touches as light as possible but if it doesn't register first time just try again with slightly more pressure etc... You can also try re-calibrating the screen by going to Menu > Settings > Phone Settings > Calibration > Follow the instructions on screen - to see if that helps :)

So glad they have been useful to you :D Those some people are correct - some apps that are not compatible with this phone (or other qwerty-touch models) will not accept input from the keyboard, or the touchscreen sometimes... The only way to see if it works however is to actually put it on the phone and try it :)

Also holding the spacebar on the qwerty keypad puts the phone into silent & back :)

@viswas009 : If the screen is not responding properly or presses are not being reigstered in the right places, you use calibration to correct it.

@98hado : You cannot play FB games on here, there's no flash player - you cannot take/save photos with the VGA camera - any internet application will use the default connection (so check in the internet settings or just connect to WiFi first before using the apps) - there is no video editor on the phone - you can watch complete films if you use a memory card and the video is at a resolution of 320x240 in either wmv,3gp or mp4 format. And video #11 is on the way - hope this helps :)

@viswas009 : If you don't know what ActiveSync is, you don't need to use it. It's more of a business application. Any videos of any format must be in a resolution of 320x240 otherwise they will not play on the phone - you are getting the error message as your videos are simply too big - use a video converter to shrink them down and they will play normally :)

@100pramod : Unfortunately even though this phone does have an accelorometer, not every motion game is compatible. On this phone the accelorometer is mainly used for viewing media and for the Etiquette Pause (silence ringtone by turning it over). In the end, we won't know if a game will fully work until it is installed on the phone... The only games I have found that work with motion on this phone are Rollercoaster Rush 3D and EDGE, there may be more but I don't know for certain :)

@98hado : Menu > Settings > Security > Privacy Lock drop-down > Select which areas you want locked then press Save > If this is your first time you have used a password, enter a password - otherwise enter the password you have used before - if you cannot remember it, you will have to reset the phone > press Confirm > Done. The shop I bought my phone from no longer sells it, but I looked around places like Amazon, and the prices there range from £249 - £120 (new) to £85 (used) for both PAYG and Unlocked. To be honest, I'm surprised as I got mine 2 years ago brand new for £100 - it really depends on where you buy it from and in what condition :)

@ada31996 : Skype is available to use as a Java application on this phone yes, but you will only be able to call or 'chat' to your contacts, no video calling is possible :)

@viper240999 : I am not familiar with the Samsung Pro, not sure it even exists here - but on this Genio Slide/Corby Pro and most of the other Samsungs (excluding smartphones), you cannot add Home Screens, only Menu screens if you wish :)

@viper240999 : It's the same process as watching KZbin videos (see vid #9) but with BBC iPlayer. That's the only TV related content available to stream on the phone. ITV, Channel 4 and 5, Freeview etc... cannot be accessed on this phone. Just go to bbc.co,uk/iplayer in the phone's browser and use the site like normal - if you click TV at the top, under each channel is an option to watch it live :)

@wstvw : I'm afraid it is not possible to use a numeric code for the phone lock. We have to make do with the lock button on the side and the screen's icon. It is a shame as it would be a very useful feature for this phone but Samsung did miss a trick here...

@rohanandcheeku : Right I'm back - and I'm afraid the answer is no. There is no way to record more than one hour at a time... Not sure in the exact reasons why but looking at other gadgets, this seems to be down to the fact that it's filming and writing to memory at the same time whilst syncing the sound etc... So it's more of a safety catch - if it kept recording forever and something malfunctioned, you would lose the whole recording for example. Hope this helps :)

@TMX6996 : Thank You - I have been offered 3 places in university since making the video :D If you mean apps as in Java applications, then there are a few that do work - again, it's a case of trial and error. In general, if they support touchscreens and are at a resolution of 320x240 they should work properly. However, in the way of Widgets (the ones on the homescreens/menu), there are no additional apps there for this phone as Samsung has focused on it's Galaxy Tab and other smartphones :)

@ZubbyQureshi : The password is the same as the one used for all other Locking features on the phone, if you haven't already set a password you can try 0000 or 1234 or try changing the password first by going to "Change Password" in the security menu... I had a similiar problem before and Samsung just said factory reset the phone if all else fails... Hope this was of some help :)

@MariemMai : Hello, I have never seen a problem like this before... Looking at the technical details of this phone it does mention that arabic is fully supported even though there have been reports of some finding it difficult to read like you have mentioned. Searching through google, there was mention of a firmware update but all the links for them did not work... And zooming in is not always possible, so unfortunately at this moment there is no working solution that I can find...

@ada31996 : You cannot take photos or video with the front camera - it is only used for 3G video calls or as a 'mirror' using the keypad code I used back in Video #1. Even if you could, the quality would be very poor anyway :)

Could you tell me how to lock the phone (whilst still switched on) so that it needs a numeric code to unlock it? I've tried the phone lock, but that only works on start up, and I'm not really sure what the SIM lock does. Cheers Steve.
