The truth is that the lines are not coming due to updates, I have faced it ownself on Realme X7 Pro, after Android 12, I have downgraded to 10 (not even on 11) and still second line also appeared, but thankfully I got free screen replacement for third time also with even liquid damage. Salute to Realme. Now bought Galaxy S23FE and feeling scared after so much of issues. My device is totally fine and yah about lines, it is due to overheating or some external pressures. And yes, it is also fault of companies, because previous in old phones, heating was also same and people handled the same with same pressure but no lines but with newer we are getting due to planned obsolescence or knowingly using faulty/bad quality hardware or may be by mistake. Over all Update is not the issue, but yes कभी झूठ बोलना पड़ता हैं, हम सब को update आने के बाद आया ऐसे ही बोलना हैं, वर्ना Company-आ नहीं देने वाले हैं free में l

I had green line on my S22+ after August update. Service center refused to change the display for free and told me it would cost around Rs. 12000 for a new display as it is liquid damage, whereas no liquid has gone inside the phone.

@@nihill4048 my phone started showing a green line suddenly without any physical or water damage. Initially it would only stay for 10-20 seconds and disappeared after that or after a simple restart. But after a security update it became permanent. The green would show when the screen was on or using aod. It stayed for like 3-4 days but disappeared after I reduced my usage. It hasn't appeared after that.

@@BishalRoyiam I don't use them personally. But the cases I hear are very less compared to Samsung. I think it is really quite stupid to waste above one lakhs just to get green, pink lines. Samsung really needs to do something otherwise their brand reputation is gone. I am using HMDs Crest Max it has OLED Display using since almost 4 months no issues & previous Nokia also had good experience. Don't fall for chasing the highest spec bump smartphone because of this a key important aspect Chinese OEMs neglect is build quality. You can trust your money with Nokia on Build Quality sure it might not have the good specs but who cares I am a moderate user I like their Build Quality plus Stock Android is Stock Android you get a Pixel Experience in less than 15k. I am really not trying to be a fan boy or something like that. I am trying hard to remain objective. Regarding Samsung the problem lies in their sAMOLED Displays. Even the latest S Series have this issue the problem lies in their manufacturing. A smartphone update usually has no impact on Screen Displays you can read AndroidAuthoritys blog also. Samsung doesn't wants to acknowledge it. It is really really bad of them to neglect their loyal users.
