Now, one has to be a handy man/woman or _engineer_ to replace cell phone batteries and even risk damaging their *overpriced devices,* if one is not patient and careful. Hi, I note when you removed the black plastic foil at the back of the phone, the phone's back became transparent when you screwed back the cover. Then you produced another cover, removed a green foil and sticked it on the back and the back became black again. Please where did you get this black back cover as I note it is not part of Samsung when you began the disassembly.

A first class video, absolutely brilliant! - I still have my samsung note 3, unwilling to change it due to a newer mobile/cell phone with 'non-replaceable' battery or at a cost via sevice outlets.Now seeing clear & precise info on battery change, I can consider a new phone, but will hold on to my Note 3 for as long as possible for reasons already given in post: 'Answer to brahim119 comment ...'. Maybe you can/will cover some repair/replacement procedure topics on the Samsung Note 3? Thanks for great video! AvB

The centre plate does not separate that easily from the screen and board because mine had adhesive. You have to heat the screen edges up to remove the centre plate. 👎🏻

Be very careful not to order the battery from the link in the description. Nobody gets their package in the last many months. Read the reviews. They all lost their money.

*@Haliff.* I humbly and strongly recommend no to _hate backing up_ your data residing on any of your devices. Especially that user-friendly back-up tools are available. Many of those tools provide you with the option to automatically schedule back-ups on daily, weekly, monthly basis, so you don't have to do it manually. 🧐
