watching this video today. I have used the NX1 for all my professional work and still use it. Everything on my channel is shot with this camera, check out every single one of our videos! haha great camera and still holds up if you expose it correctly

I ordered nx1 today. Can’t wait. Glasses I already have, they are great)
I really interested in this camera and might consider to buy the nx500 instead because it's so cheap just 250$ usd only in my city right now while having so good image quality. But i didn't know enough how the OIS lens performs since it didn't have IBIS like lumix gx85 (my first consideration camera). Could you make the stabilization test video on each lens you have? Im curious how good the stabilization perform on OIS lens and non-OIS prime lens
@too_many_cameras29 күн бұрын
The OIS isn't very effective on the Samsung lenses. Even with the digital stabilization enabled it's quite far from what you can achieve with an IBIS

they need better built lens. I had galaxy nx and the rubber melt overtime, lens is good but cheaply built. But nx1 is so cool I can buy it for 800 usd nowadays sealed with 16-50 s lens but I'm not sure if it's worth it

I was a Pro for almost 60 years, a very successful Advertising and Fashion photographer who generated an average of what's now 350 K euro. Used to work with Hasselblad, Sinar and Mamiya RZ. I during my retirement, bought first an NX11, then a NX 20 now a NX 30, the lenses are great, all of them. I have been told although made in China, they are actually Schneider. Not one problen with any raiser sharp images.

Bought the first NX1 in 2015 and still going strong. People still can't accept the fact that the pics that I deliver to them is taken by samsung made camera. And just ordered another used NX1 today. Am very happy.

I don’t know how much you paid but in Germany a used NX1 is sold for like 900-1200€ which is OVERPRICED and doesn’t even make sense to buy. So what you paying for one camera ?
@GreyBlackD7 ай бұрын
@@kiseiju5016 I just paid US$850 with taxes with 3 lenses on ebay. That was one great guy offered it for very low price. I also got 85mm 1.4
@LevijehАй бұрын
@@kiseiju5016 At this point the high price is due to its rarity and high quality despite being an "old" camera.

Does anyone have the phone app working with NX1 for remote shooting, etc.? It used to work, but isn’t working anymore with my current iPhone.

It worked for a little bit when i tried it about a month ago but then couldn't get it to connect anymore. I'm on android

i have it since 2015, still using it. But can't find lens anymore :( I have 30 and 18-200) looking for a prime 80

The lenses are hard to find. I'm considering getting the 30mm. Does it have the fast autofocus or the slower type.
@nickbelane789329 күн бұрын
@@too_many_cameras I don t know which one it has, mine seems pretty slow.
@too_many_cameras29 күн бұрын
I think if the settings have the option to change the responsiveness and shift speed then it's one of the faster af lenses. The 20 pancake didn't have it and was slow to focus. I'm afraid the 30mm might be too
@nickbelane789329 күн бұрын
@@too_many_cameras good to know. Do you know where this could be in setting ? I see “MF responsiveness” but can’t access it.
@too_many_cameras29 күн бұрын
In the video tab. If they are grayed out the lens you likely have one of the older, slower autofocusing lens.

Dude total rip off becusse people are praising this camera yes it's good. It it's 12 years old it doesn’t do ciinema just 4k dci it’s not a cinema camera. They are going for 1000, obviously not selling buyer there worth about 450 500 body only, im so sick of seeing this horrible e at stuff on Samsung camera that are 10 years old nx300 599 nx2000 500 wtf there 150 doller. Cameras I wanted an nx1 im glad I got a bmpcc4k I still want.an nx1 but lack of lenses and dude. No warranty and seriously 12 years old
@too_many_cameras Жыл бұрын
The NX1 was announced late 2014 which would make it 8,5 years old at most. The lack of lenses does kind of suck although manual lenses can be used using an adapter
@MtnXfreeride Жыл бұрын
It gets praise because its still good.. but the used market is over priced for these. I just snagged an NX500 off ebay for $221 this week to replace my now broken NX500. There are some deals out there.

@@MtnXfreeride What happened to your NX500 if i may ask?

1000€ in Germany in the used market hahaha I can geht a LUMIX S1 which is 10x better with better glas or a other FF camera this is crazy actually

dont buy this piece of crap. I have it since it came out and it only annoys me. The Software is full of bugs, sometimes it freezes the ehole system, sometimes it does other things, you cant connect it to a phone that is later than android 6 or so. the batteries are weak, the display sucks. it does shoot good pictures but please get something else. please
@BartSantello8 ай бұрын
I still own 3 NX1's and never had any of the issues you mentioned. Just shot a short documentary with the camera in 4K. The MP5 CODEC means you can use the video straight out of the camera for fast production. Fantastic for adapting vintage lenses.
@FencyPence8 ай бұрын
@@BartSantello can you recommend a good replacement battery, as rhe original ones are no longer produced?

I already have 1 NX1 with multiple Samsung Lenses. And just ordered a pre-owned NX1 again today with 3 lenses. This is something that I want to hold on to it for a long time.
