As this one has smart features, it has a remote. You CAN use mouse/keyboard though.

When you realize all displays that other companies use are either Samsung or LG displays. You go with one or the other.

Other brands still have their own twist added to the Monitor. For instance Samsung and LG only make matte OLED monitors whereas others also have glossy ones. The Samsung doesn't support Dolby Vision and others do and also other monitors don't have a Smart TV interface (and for many people it's a good thing). Also the external design, how "thick" it is from the display to the furthest part of the stand (for small desks), burn in warranty in different countries and probably other stuff that I can't think of. On the other hand this one also does have built in speakers for instance, while many others don't.

There are other panel manufacturers. But as it’s been said, at some point everything boils down to components and no one makes them all. So it’s about how things are put together and what that equates to. Some make semi conductors and small parts others come in much later and take a pre made panel but then write solid firmware

Ich hat heute bestellt diese Monitor-TV , biss jetzt ich hat Benutzt LG C2,42Zoll , ich Ware sehr zufrieden ich nur on PS5 gespielt, aber dieses Jahr endlich eine super PC gebaut und die 42 Zoll ist viel zu groß … ist tut we aber ich musste etwas kleineres zu kaufen ! Ich hoffe ich hat eine gute Angebot gemacht … war in die Angebot un mit Punkte und alles was ich gehabt on Samsung Store hat gekostet für mich 1050€ ! They use exactly the same panel. Asus is glossy and Samsung has the features of a smart TV.

I did the exact same :) Because the Samsung logo and the display name are printed on that side and not the other. Pretty happy i've found this video to see how to "rebox" it for returnal.

You need a PC or console to pair it with, but you can play some video games if you subscribe to a cloud gaming service like Xbox Game Pass or Nvidia GeForce Now but that will require a quite capable internet.

I'm not happy with this monitor at all. The only frequencies that make the display look good at 4k are 59,997 Hz and 239,991 Hz. All other freqs produce a greyish picture in games and even on desktop (WIN10), like someone put a LUA filter or something over it, at least in NON-HDR mode. And what really makes me sending that one back was the fact that it flickers when trying to play 4k @120 hz. That's an absolute no-go.
