How about to suggest the night mode button on the navigation bar along with blutooth, wifi, flash light, hotspot and so on... ? It makes more smarter and faster to do.

Simplicity is the key and based on that they definitely look like they hit a homerun. Reachability in every menu, faster menus/animations that looks to be better. It appears to be very Oxygen OS like with Samsung's own flare and feature implementations. This looks to be a definite win for the future of Samsung's upcoming devices and will bring some revival to old handsets like the S8, S8plus, and Note8 which will be nice. We can hope that simplifying everything will mean faster updates to future versions of android. Great video by friend..

Thank you brother, Samsung should be applauded because they have listened to their customer base. Which other oems have the guts to make such a major change to their UI? None! This is why Samsung are winning in this game!

@@Tech_Zilla actually them having guts means bad for customers, they have guts to put exynos and make such major changes to the OS, most customers would prefer it to be as it was in their previous phone especially older people OneUI 2 is much slower than Experience 9 btw. I loved the Samsung experience for being much cooler than iOS and other OEMs, now me a loyal customer is switching to an iPhone because of Exynos, speed of OneUI and support

I see a lack of android 9 animations when closing apps or hitting home button you know what I mean? Kinda like the ones in mate 20 hope Samsung don't forget to put this in final release I think these animations are one of the items that make android 9 unique

Personally i dont like one Ui. It's colors are too childish and the notification center feels like a chinese phone Ui. Also, the icons are reaaallly bad.

@@Tech_Zilla sure you can change the theme or use a theme that you've already downloaded, but it's not going to act the same as it did before. I just got the One UI update last night (didn't ask for it, didn't even know it was a thing) but I have a theme that I picked out and have used for a long time and I am having some issues running it now. Actually, I'm running into the same issues with all previous themes I've downloaded. One of which is my calendar is one color and you cannot distinguish the days. The only things you can see on it are the colored reminders and the current date because the number is highlighted blue. Other than that the entire calendar is a white page. Also, all of the Samsung apps, with said theme I've been running, used to have a transparent look to them with the previous software. I liked it a lot because my background was a Space theme, which already had a dark tone to it so it was easy to look at at night. Now fast forward to last night when I received the update, Samsung apps like "Clock" are no longer transparent and have a huge wall of white light illuminating from the app, blinding me when I need to change my alarm after I already went to bed. You might ask yourself why not just turn on night mode, well because night mode doesnt work when you are using a theme. There are more issues than that too when using themes. I liked the Samsung Experience so much more than I like this One UI. The Samsung Experience didn't have a learning curve, at least for me, and I enjoyed the interface layout a lot more from the very beginning. One of the reasons I switched from apple was because I liked the Samsung Experience interface more, and now Samsung is starting to look more like apple. I hate it and I didn't want it. There should have been some kind of major coverage so I could have mentally prepared myself for such a dramatic change instead of being blindsided.

Ui design these days is so not innovative. Companies just keep changing ui and changing it back. For instance, the quick action buttons used to be round, them they got rid of the circular button design, and now they reintroduced it in the one ui. Also, the settings app used to be separated into different sections, then they made it into one list. And now they're separated again. smh

It looks really good, love the way they've adapted it to suit one handed use as much as possible. A big improvement on other UI's. I can see Google taking yet another leaf out of Samsungs book and putting this on Android Q. 👍👍 Excellent video, touched on all the relevant stuff.

For me personally i think this is a game changer, Samsung have been clever and put the most used setting at the forefront and the settings which are sort of set up once and leave into the background. This will have many oems worried imho as no one can complain about the samsung ui any longer, Battery life seems to have improved but I need to give it a few days to settle to be fair.

The God damn power save animation is unskipable. I have to sit through the animation to either remove or enable battery saving mode. Its fucking annoying . How to fix or remove the stupid animation and just enable power saving mode.

The new layout is too bright and oversized, like it was made for old people. I really don't like the rounded overlays instead of the full screen boxes. Old one is better.

so many things copied from iOS. bixby section is same style as widgets, dock without app titles, settings colours and sections, notification panel circles, even gestures and camera straight from iOS. I mean i dont mind Android getting good stuff too but after using iPhone this is so clear.
