Let me get this clear. No one and by 'no one', I am also talking about even those with Samsung's name on their channel and their website claiming to be a platform dedicated to Samsung, has made a video on One UI 5.0 so detailed and beautiful as you. Thanks for this video. Until now, I kind of disliked Samsung for bringing very few to no changes in their major update but, this makes me realize that they indeed upgraded on a lot of things, though pretty minor changes, still great. You need to be appreciated for this.

You can turn off pop up notifications for individual apps in One UI 4.1, you just have to dive deep into the individual app settings and do it from there which is annoying, for example if you don't want instagram dm pop ups, go to instagram in the settings app, notification categories, instagram direct, and show as pop up option should be there. I guess what's nice is that you get to choose specifically what you want to turn off rather than the whole apps notifications.

Downloaded yesterday and it's snappier and even better looking I thought. I love it! And a feature I love so much is the watermark on photos. But it'd be even cooler if the watermark could be adjusted to the picture when it's cropped. That would be perfect. Other than that, I'm loving it all.

The magnifier glass app is really old. It's also on my old J5 2017, I know of it because my mom used it. 10:05 File manager filters have also been there since the beginning.

I'm visually impaired, and I've been using my back camera as a magnifying glass for years. there's also a magnifier widget in the accessibility features, I just think they're pulling it out and making it easier to find, which is great. looks like it does the same thing. now if they can just keep the phones from overheating while using it. that would be great. I have the s21 ultra, and it seems like it's having the same overheating issues is the S8 plus I had. this is not just from Mike experience either. I have the S8 plus then switch to the Note 10 plus, then switch to the s21 ultra and I just noticed that the Note 10 plus didn't overheat for me it didn't get hot like the other two.

It almost makes me want to switch away from my Pixel phone. But I'm kind of simple and I like my assistant typing and camera. But I do love Samsung products and these updates are pretty significant, a lot of individualization possible with the Samsung versus Pixel.

Ehhhh in my opinion, almost every new functionality feature mentioned in this review has been present in the latest Pixel since Android 12, besides Samsung Dex and Widget Stacks (hopefully that one comes soon). I think when I was younger the Samsung features stuck out to me, but the latest iteration of the Pixel has a few features that have legitimately improved my day-to-day life. Stuff like at a glance, hold for me, voice dictation, google assistant, and the super intuitive notification system they use just makes the phone so easy to use. At a glance specifically is a game changer for me. Just having the most relevant information on your home screen with a shortcut directly into that app can save so much time. I think I used to care a lot about customization but stock Android 12/13 looks so beautiful that I don't even really care haha. Google might be slightly slower than Samsung to the game on cutting edge features, but when it makes it into stock android it's usually executed perfectly.
