SAMSUNG PLASMA TV Will Not Turn On! Is It Worth fixing$$$ | Let's find out

This Samsung Plasma Display model HP-T4254 has intermittent power then turns off! I was not sure if it was worth to fix but it ending up being a simple repair. The reason why it did not work was a bad solder joint. After soldering it the TV turns on without a problem.
Older plasma tvs have better quality than the newer tv's but they are getting old and due fail. Hope this video helps and gets a few more years out of your tv.

Given that it's a plasma, do you need to discharge capacitors for safety like you would with the CRT? And if so, can you let me know where I can find more information about how to do it properly and safely

I have the pn51f8500afxza. Turned it on, it died AND tripped the house circuit breaker. I’ve not opened it up yet, but the tripped house breaker is worrisome! I actually have 3 of this same model, all dead. It still beats everything I’ve seen. I hope I can cobble together a working one from all 3. Thoughts?? I know electronics well but video is a weak point.
