@@Legenkilla honestly dude, I’d watch Tech Steve’s video, it helps a lot and he explains throughly. For me, I have a PS4 pro with the Q60T. I have gaming mode set to auto on my tv and on my PS4 pro I have all video outputs set to auto and my video games look amazing. Hope this helps, and good luck!

I recently bought the TU7000 before seeing your videos and I absolutely love it. I definitely prefer the darker display on the TU7000 as it makes the images slightly crisper(Viewing your review from my phone I definitely prefer the Q60T but the TU7000 looks better on my TV). My only issue is the volume on the speaker but nothing a soundbar won't fix. One thing I noticed is that my TU7000 came with the newer fancy remote like the Q60T. Okay it's possible that I may have gotten one manufactured outside of the US.

I was able to exchange the TU7000, for the Q60T, and this set is amazing. Definitely brighter, game mode is amazing with the auto low latency, and the colors really pop. I have it in Standard picture mode, with the Eco Sensor ON. I actually don’t mind the brightness changing. It’s my first intro to QLED. Such a great TV, and thanks for the guidance.

@@TechSteve sure thing, and one more thing I’d like to add. To someone who’s looking to buy this tv for the new gen consoles, the Xbox Series S and PS5 look and feel phenomenal on it. Response time from controller to screen is flawless. When using it for watching your everyday shows on the apps or Samsung TV, I recommend Standard or natural picture mode. It’s easy on the eyes. If you turn the Eco sensor off, it will be bright on default, so be sure to find that sweet spot with the brightness level.

I'm looking at the same options, but with Q60T. I bought an LG 65UN8000 a few days ago but I want to return it. Dark scenes in a dark room are unwatchable, the blacks are only gray and the whole screen is just glowing in the dark - no blacks at all. So I would stay away from IPS panels. (you can only notice it in the dark, not visible in the shop) On paper Sony X8500G is the winner, its 100hz and 2019 model, XH is only 50Hz - 65" size but both with IPS panel. Q70T is pricier with 50hz VA panel. Do all IPS panels have terrible backlight like the LG-s? If that's the case I would go with Samsung.

So I just ordered the Hisense Quantum 75H8G yesterday with Saturday delivery and found out today that Best Buy has incorrectly listed the Samsung Q60T as edge lit? Which is why I avoided. Now it seems like the H8G compares favorably to the Q60T and many reviews it very slightly edges out the Q60T however then it down to Samsung vs Hisense which without doubt the Samsung name and reputation wins however Hisense is where Hyundai was in the 90's IMO and look at them now. Now I'm struggling with which one.

I have both 82” tvs of these models. The TU7000 has deep blacks but just seems lack luster. The Q60t blacks look a little washed out. I also notice motion gets pretty bad at times no matter what options I select. Color is phenomenal but to me this tv doesn’t look as sharp in some aspects. Overall both tvs lack in picture options. I am not happy with Samsung. I still have a 70” Vizio 240hz with local dimming that still does a balanced job of handling all media handling gaming very very well. Although it is 1080p I have loved this tv to death. Long story short I bought the TU7000 first at Best Buy and lost the receipt in moving. Went back today and wanted the Q60t which priced dropped over $400. I’m stuck with the first and returning the Q60t ASAP. Just going to sell the other and buy an upper tier OLED and sacrifice size and be happy with the picture.

While I like tech not really big into TVs since we didn't need a big screen before, however needing to buy one it was incredibly confusing to see all the options out there and so many different price points with no real clarity on WTH is going on. I have a Samsung in my parent's home and I love the picture quality. I'm buying a new one for my apartment and was undecided between getting another Samsung or a new LG... I decided on the Samsung even though I do have two peeves about it that I don't believe you addressed in your video and am curious about. 1- Samsung does not mirror screens with Androids without having to download an additional app whereas you can screen mirror with an iPhone seamlessly. 2 - The voice control on Samsung is hit or miss, depending on the app or something else I haven't yet figured out but plan to. I'd like to be able to simply talk to my tv and it do what I ask. Like magic. Thanks for your video, it was super helpful! I confirmed Samsung is for me because I can learn to maneuver the navigation but what I'm really after is the picture quality.

Hi Steve, thank you for the reviews they are great! I am in the market for a new tv and upgrading from an LG 50" plasma so it's been sometime since I've bought one. I really like the Samsung brand and curious to know your thoughts. The new tv will be in my basement where the seating will be approximately 10+ feet back, with both straight and angled seating (couch and two side chairs). The wall is large and makes a 55-65" looks small, so I was thinking of 70-75" would be ideal. The primary purpose would be multi-purpose (Video Games, Movies & sports), my question would be what Samsung model would be the best under the $1000 mark? Or is pushing the budget up for the Q60T at the $1199.99 price worth the difference in the long run? Thanks

One has hdmi arc for connecting soundbars. You’re laptop video card sounds like the reason it stutters, that happens on my older Mac book pro.

Both these TV’s HAVE 2.0B HDMI inputs, NOT 2.1 HDMI inputs. Yes it supports eARC but that does not make it a “2.1 HDMI input for sound but not video” I have no idea why you said that, no such thing that a 2.1 HDMI input that does NOT support 120hz and the full features of 2.1 HDMI, but supports eARC. Therefore both these TV’s are 2.0B HDMI inputs instead of 2.0A (which does not support eARC) Samsung just decided to give customers a little more out of a 2.0 HDMI input 60Hz tv by making it a eARC 2.0B. So basically Samsung gave us every possible detail they could put in a 2.0B input. Please edit this because it’s confusing to a lot of people who aren’t tech savvy saying it’s a 2.1 HDMI but only for sound, no it’s just a 2.0B that SUPPORTS eRC. Other then that thank you for this video and all the many important specs/details you pointed out between the differences of these two TV’s!!

I’m not sure about that, I don’t have enough history in TVs that I reviewed for that data. But u do know that burn in was more for plasma TVs, it takes a very long time for that to happen on newer models

I wonder if the Dynamic picture setting on the 7000 would be comparable to the standard setting on the Q60?? I just bought a TU7000 and a Toshiba Fire Tv because I couldn't decide which one I wanted. There's no comparison when it comes to the picture quality but I really like the fire TV remote and ease of use overall. I don't like Tizen that much so far, and I have a fire stick, but was trying to not use that anymore. I'm still deciding which one I will keep. I was considering the Q60, but I don't think it'd be worth the extra $. Thanks for the video!

Turning off the Power Saving Mode on this Unit will enhance your viewing pleasure drastically. It's factory set to on, which is not allowing the QLEDs to operate at full brightness, turning off and enjoy.

I purchased the entry level 60A QLED 55 inch and my opinion the picture wasn't as crisp as expected, I returned it for a 55 TU7000 which to me shows a better picture. Something may be wrong with my eyes, but I was highly satisfied.

you need 4k source or use apps. if you have old cable or satellite equipment it will look terrible

@@TechSteve No cable, I had an antenna hooked to it. So was that the problem, I asked the sales lady and she asked me did I have the internet, which I do.

Antennas are terrible for picture. 720p sometimes 1080p at best. So you’re seeing less than 25% of what the TV was built for, that’s why it doesn’t look good.

As I said before, I bought the 43" Q60T after watching your other video. I'd purchased the TU7000 the night before and kicked myself for not buying the QLED. So now...instead of taking the TU back...I put it our owners suite and put the Q60T in my man cave! Thank you for this review!

My daughter nearly bought a 7100 but I suggested the 8000 instead as she needed the composite input, something that never occurred to her. Since then I've read some customer reviews saying that the menu system on the 7000 series can lag, a family has one and I can confirm it. The 43TU8000 we have has none of this so I suspect it has a faster cpu, worth bearing in mind.

Thanks for all your videos, really helped me make some decisions. Just cancelled order on two 58" TU7000s that were going to replace two 50" TU8000s I received with dead pixels; using them for office monitors btw. Way too dark for my tastes on the 8000, so I can only assume the same from the 7K. Did a side by side with a 2014 UN32H5000 and was super disappointed with 2020 UHDs; better picture on 2014!. Now wondering if I should wait for the Q60A or get a HiSense H9 or TCL 635. They seem to check a lot of the boxes for a lot less money. Analysis paralysis!!!!

It all comes down to price, do you remember what you paid for the 32”. The reality is that the true Samsung panels are in models like the q90t and higher.

Yeah for the same price of your 32” the Samsung had Bluetooth remote, voice activation, 4k uhd, app store, larger screen. I don’t want to insult people but to get the quality in today’s tech you have to spend alot more money. I have a family members who still uses a 50” plasma from 8 years and he paid $1000 for it. I like hisense, they actually sponsor a few of my videos and they are great TVs.

Hi Steve, bought t60 yesterday, even before I'd seen your reviews , I put it on to watch David Attenborough wildlife programme, wow what a difference, I thought all this stuff about how much better these new Tv are ,was all nonsense, but I got to say it was like watching my parents old colour TV in the 70s, to watching a movie in the cinema , wow amazing, thanks a lot for the information on how to use it ,cause I got no idea 😀
