Helpful review thankyou for you hard work and time. I have just bought the samsung QN95C and Im just totally blown away by it...I mean seriously. I just cant imagine a better picture anywhere!!! I must admit personally I have it on standard. Im more of a wow man than a purist man...but its nice to have options right?😊

If I'm experiencing blooming on my Samsung edge lit panel when viewing HDR, should I lower the gamma slider (thus making the image DARKER)?

Work for the QN90C too and there is any difference between the QN90C 55" 65" I heard more dimming zones is that true or a mith 😅📺

Had a Philips TV on the wall for 16 years had to replace it with the Samsung when it got dimmer and dimmer, Samsung's filmmaker mode makes it look like my old burnt out Phillips, Standard looks amazing for all formats in my front room

This may sound as a dumb question, but how do I save the setting for each content separately? Like I want the hdr settings to be saved only when the tv noticed the hdr content and when I switch back to sdr content to have the different settings

The tv actually does save sdr and hdr picture settings separately.

Hi can someone plz help me! I bought the qn90c and the eye comfort mode doesn't seem to be working. When i turn it on under intelligent mode it actually makes my screen even cooler and brighter making my eyes sore! Can some plz help😢

In SDR, is Contrast supposed to be reduced to around 37-40 to reduce clipping? Or did Samsung engineer the TV to be calibrated at SDR Default 45?

I don't have this panel, but rather an NU8000, but the defaults are pretty much the same - I just leave Contrast at 45 with SDR in Movie Mode, but drop Backlight to "11" out of "50" because we watch disc based content in a dark room. I pretty much leave the HDR settings on their defaults.

That's because you are playing hdr content. In sdr mode you can choose between bt.1886 and 2.2 gamma.

Just got the QN90c. Picture mode I only have optimized and eyecomfort as a choices. I dont have dynamic, standard , filmmaker mode etc ?? What the heck.

Edit: my tv was on intelligent mode which removes all picture setting

Uh. Dynamic was way brighter and crisper.

But the colors are not accurate nor is the brightness. Of course you can use dynamic but that is normally not used for a correct picture.

Who comes up with this garbage. Filmmaker looks terrible so dull. Standard is by far the best overall mode. You may need to turn down the color if you prefer a more natural look, but that's about it. I don't know where all these "experts" come from telling you to use filmmaker or movie modes.
