A budget 4k TV is enough for 99% of consumers. I just put a new Phillips 65" Ambilight TV up on the wall yesterday and seeing the streamed 4k HDR footage from youtube I sure as hell don't feel short changed. It looks incredible. I'm sure a multi £k QLED or OLED would look better side by side, but in isolation this TV looks amazing. £550 and I'm happy as a pig in sh*t.

I have the 65" version of this, looked over a load of reviews. It's great and a definite upgrade over my LG 4k. I noticed a definite improvement watching 1080p blurays. I use it with an AV reciever, and it will pass through 5.1 from apps like Netflix, so it must be eARC. All in all I think the picture quality is great, I still notice light blead on it a little, not as bad as the LG. Nice thin bezels too, and not very thick either.. if that bothers you. The 65 inch you can get for £580 probably less now.

No this only comes with the standard remote in the uk but you can add the bluetooth remote separately

The easiest way I find is from having youtube on my phone and sending them to my tv. You don't have to mirror your screen as such you can just cast them from it

How's the HDR on this tv? I heard the HDR whas abit bad on the 7100! Is it any diffrence on this tv

@Max _ The only difference between the two is apparently the stands, but please do not hold me to that.

Black levels thanks to VA panel will be quite ok even though it doesn't have local dimming. But maximum brightness would be around 300-350 nits while good HDR experience is from 600 to 1000 or above. SDR signal will be very good. It has good contrast.

Do not purchase this TV. I've had mine since March 2020 and the judder is atrocious and Samsung new there was an issue but did not inform the public. They can alter the settings but can get rid of the issue. But won't replace or refund. I've bought Samsung for 30 years no more though.

Hi Jimmy. Have you tried using game mode to turn off the picture processing? It might help. If not you should be able to exchange for credit under the consumer rights act, not fit for purpose.
