I am glad Samsung finally took notes, that these curvy corners on the glass are just fragile, not fancy. Where do you get adhesive thats up to standard with the original stuff? Every time I tried to replace the back cover on my Note 9 and glue it back on, that adhesive always seems to stick more to its protective film, than the device (yes it was cleaned before application). Had two camera modules destroyed by fine dust that over time made it through that adhesive and under the lens.

I usually get my iphone adhesive from REWA - shop.rewa.tech But they don't offer much Samsung adhesives. So this was from AliExpress a.aliexpress.com/_mP2s5TU It's listed as "Original" but you never can trust it, especially on AliExpress. But the quality was really good, appeared to be very sticky.

I wish official samdumb centers where all this careful. Got mine repaired today and the camera lenses are all filled with dust. SO dissapointed for a $480 repair... (23 ultra) : ( This is the ONLY channel (after a day long video search) that does the job like a professional. The vast majority are all over the place and call it a day...

This is fascinating! So wait, does the adhesive dictate how good of a waterproof level there is on a phone? And are there different types of adhesives for phones? If so I could totally make my phone have a better waterproof level.

There are different types of adhesives for phones, but the phone manufacturers usually use the strongest type that can still be disassembled. You could use a strong silicone adhesive which would probably increase water resistance, if applied correctly. Edit: Also the double sided adhesive eventually fails after a couple years of use, so it's worth replacing it if the phone is over 2 years old.

I think Samsung uses less back glass adhesive on their current flagships, if you compare S10 to S22 Ultra, S22 Ultra has just one piece of back adhesive, and the S10 has like 4 pieces.

This makes my heart burn to watch because every time i open a phone for repair i spend 2 hours cleaning the adhesive because he just never comes off easily. So much IPA tons of heat and i still spend over an hour ! The repair itself takes less than 10 minutes!!! Why he works perfectly with everyone else and can get it off in one piece in one go without any heat but just not me?? ⁉❓

I excidently touch the square camera lense and I wipe with damp clothes but it become worse how can I clean the lense back to normal

@@PolaPot-r3c not sure what you mean by "square" camera lens, but if you got a smudge on the lens it is difficult to clean off without destroying the coating on the lens. I would suggest Isopropyl Alcohol, but that would likely destroy any coating on the lens. I would only try that as a last resort. Use a micro fibre cloth, and some eye glass cleaner. Do at own risk, I'm not an expert in camera lens cleaning.
