Apples form of optimization for apps is to close them and have them stop running in the background. It's not a good thing. I can upload images/vids on an Android on snap, insta, Facebook, and tiktok almost at the same time because i can leave the app and let the phone process the upload in the background. You can't on iPhone because the second you leave the app, the software stops all background processing and, in turn, cancels your upload! In return, once you understand this, it shows that Android has true optimization because Apple nowadays is only winning with a couple minutes to spare not hours like before, BUT your iPhone limits you to how you use it because there is no such thing as background processing, a major limitation!

Shuts down all apps in the background and stops any processing they are attempting to do! Good for battery life but not good for the consumer! For instance, on Androids, you can upload an image to Instagram and leave the app, then start to upload the same image/vid on another platform and the images will upload in the background, on iPhones, you close out the app, the upload gets canceled! It was like a 15-minute difference between 16PM and S25U under heavy use, which means BOTH will last a long time under normal use.

bro the reviewer is completely biased. you can see a previous test where xiaomi 15 pro beat the i phone by a whole 1 hour lead. and he specifically uses tests that favour i phone. for example he maxed out the pub g graphics setting where i phone clearly under performs and saves battery. he doesnt show screen brightness callibration. instagram heavily favours i phone. and video recording is also really efficient on i phone. you can see that 3 of the 4 things he tests are i phones strongest points. if he really wants the comparison to be apples to apples then screen callibraion is important. pubg should be run at medium seeting so i phones under performance doesnt give it an edge. the video recording segment should be limited to 1 hour at max. and multiple apps like faceboot, twitter, spotify etc should also be included in the test to make the test all rounder.

Another thing to consider is that we do not know the starting temperatures of the devices being tested, nor do we have the timing of when the charger was unplugged. So, for future comparisons, it would be helpful to record a video before unplugging the charger and to show the screen brightness with a lux meter. Also, letting the devices sit idle for the first hour would allow any temperature increase from charging to even out. It’s key to remember that different devices charge at different speeds; for example, Apple and Pixel charge at 35W and 37W, while some others can exceed 100W.
