@RCmies
@RCmies 7 күн бұрын
@ I think the sharp edges looked more unique design wise but I've heard it's a lot more comfortable this way. Also if you can get S24 Ultra for that much cheaper (new) it's probably worth it. In my country Samsung limits stock on S24 ultra and if they don't then they force retailers to sell it full price. I'm not sure if this is legal but I never see "old" Samsung phones go on sale when a new one is released.

@harussanihassan518 There is a bit of misunderstanding people are getting. The 45W charging seems very, very slow compared to when you hear about 100W on the 1+, but the one plus only charges about 10 minutes faster in total. In fact, for the first 30 minutes, the samsung keeps up pretty well with the 1+. Specs don't mean everything. Optimization is absolutely key when it comes to compact devices like these such as the iphone pulling so many hours of battery life with only 4.6kmAh battery

 @Vss077 They don't need 3-5 years to make a passable SoC. Google has the semi-custom Arm license, in which manufacturing partner (TSMC) can print on a selection of nm and also include two to four coprocessors directly onto the die shot. In this case, the custom Google NPU and DSP. This doesn't mean that Tensor G5 will actually use anywhere near the latest/fastest CPU stencils or manufacturing process available though, and/or Google might massively underclock them to save battery. I predict it will be Arm X4 and A710 cores but way underclocked, like 7000/8000 on Geekbench6, but it will have battery life that will OBLITERATE everyone else.

@ Antutu reaching close to 2 Million (Like the 8gen3) instead of close to 3 Million The performance throttle test starting in with less GIPS than the Snap 8+ gen1 or Snap 8S gen3 also maintaining less power than these two. Sony has also done this with the Xperia 1 VI archiving battery results of an average 7000mah cell with 5000mah by just limiting what the CPU can do. Of course, removing the throttling for Geekbench isn't the first time they have done it. Back at the S22 Ultra the developers of Geekbench also accused Samsung of faking their scores. Then banned the S22, S21, S20 and S10 lineup from the rankings for faking scores.

Can confirm the battery on the X200 pro (Chinese at least) is great. Driving for 9 hours during 10 hours frame. Maps, location and screen always on for 9 hours, including 1 hour of KZbin playback via Bluetooth, all on 4G network. Battery dropped from 95% to 45%, so exactly 50%. Incredible.

The problem with the Chinese phones is that they completely neuter their phones with software. The reason they do so well in battery tests is because they have the battery settings set so aggressively that basically nothing can run in the background and you get no notifications. I'll take a phone with less battery and working notifications over that any day.

ir seems to me that you simply assume and never use a Chinese phone. despite using multiple Chinese brands, i have never experienced any issues with the notifications. those who bought the china rom/set are the only folks i know who are experiencing those issues ( idk why for some reason you had to meddle with individual app setting to get it to works). however it's never a problem with the global version.

@@amirif3122 I've bought even lenovo phone back then, Xiaomi, Oneplus, and Samsung and the best experience i've had is samsung. The phone just works, it's not plagued with a lot of bug, and when i have bugs it's resolved in 1-2 update cycled (the worst one was Oneplus backthen when i have a bug for near half a year until it gets fixed).. So i know how aggresive their ram works and suspending the apps in background. And you know what worse? in middle-low phone ColorOS pushed not only ads but also forcefully pushed a lending application which is not removeable, then they make it removeable but it literally disabling the snapcard feature.. Now do they do that in their flagship phone? No. But do you really know if they don't do any shit to your phone? also no..

Yeah, my feedback would be how did you do this test, when the S25 Ultra has NOT had enough training time to maximize the battery yet??? All of mine have needed two to three weeks to fully train the battery before I got excellent battery life. This hasn't been around long enough to do that. So it's not quite fair to that Device. Also, IF you don't train your battery hard during the training time, the phone will not have the best battery life moving forward. Several of my friends have babied their S24U's during that period, while I put mine through hell, and I constantly get more than an hour to hour and a have better battery life than they do, with the same screen on time.
