Just replaced my battery and honesty the suction cup that came with my kit (unaffiliated with this video or the makers of this video)allowed plenty of force but the flat head micro screw driver + credit cards was the solution to taking the back off the phone when not having any guitar picks. GREAT VIDEO!!!

Do you know why my dads s7 won’t turn on?I replace the charging port circuit board .also with a gerenic battery from eBay putting the battery connector back wasn’t easy it gave me a hard time all I get is the blue light comes on then turns red and function keys light up but the screen don’t show anything now my dad is piss at me.I don’t know what’s wrong.

That first step getting between the seal and the back glass is a BEAR. Don't get impatient like I did and break your back glass. You need a REALLY THIN metal spudger or guitar pic shaped thing do get it, apparently. my thinnest plastic tools wouldn't do it. Make sure you heat it up hot and be patient.

The glue remover is called yaxun 535, i found it on ebay for £7.49

@@scottholley4712 Turns out... it made the micro usb plug not work. Probably shifted internally. I will have to open it back up and put the screws in afterall because it won't charge in less than 5 hours.

how did you open up the screen with the grey squares that tested if everything was working correctly?

S5 is made all out of plastic, it feels cheap. Replacing phone's battery is not something we do regularly so I like the s7's solution.

On spray, I thought I heard Falcon 530 available in eBay. but can not find spray solvent. Can you help me locate me? I assume this spray also used to clean up adhesive on back? Thank You.

+Petar Duka hi mate. Yes they are very interesting and cheap at the same time. I ve got them from pound land uk store. Just a pounds. Make sure they have rubber in between the clamps. It will protect lcd glass. Cheers

I hate it when people show you how THEY do it.. And not how TO do it.. Meaning if your watching this you obviously don't have any experience so.. Its no use watching somebody doing it who has Lots of experience especially with this model..

Glass! Galaxy S7 has glass on the back. Be careful as I was cleaning mine and it cracked. Ugh.
