Any tips for setting up a new os? I want to be able to atleast run python 3 on a windows 8.1, but I'm currently stuck with 8 and an out-of-date market place.. Should I learn how to boot from a dvd? (already burned iso) Or else what's the risk with attempting this bios system? I read something about the developer lock on the product.

I really love this computer i have had it for about 2 months and had absolutely no problems. I have the I3 processor and it is super great with many pages open. It is so fast and KZbin runs great. Heat is not a problem I'm actually amazed at how it never over heats. The only real problem i think it has is the loud clicker. Overall 9.5/10 a great product and would defiantly recommend buying.

I also ordered this on 25th for boxing day sale as well. Mine should arrive sometime this week if I'm lucky.. This is the longest I've ever had to wait for shipment to arrive. ugh.. Looks pretty good from the review, can't wait for mine :)

I told you it ran fine. that involves redstone and running it on medium level settings. It loaded chunks fine.

@PersianBoss87 No I haven't any issues with software manager agent. What kind of issues are you seeing? I use the FN key to launch it. I do agree I was surprised to see it was a bilingual keyboard but doesn't bother me.

I just got the amd version 15.6 series 3; shift is bigger and the amd processor is a a6 quad core and it was $400. This is a high quality budget laptop; I'm quite pleased with mine.

@TheXxGreatxXOne check to see if samsung has updated wifi drivers and secondly if that doesn't work update the firmware on your router which has resolved alot of issues in the past for me with other devices.

i bought one (im using it right now) yesterday from a guy off Craigslist for $200 inn excellent condition . problem he had was not able to turn wireless on . So i installed the right driver and here we go

Got the same-ish laptop. Intel i5 4gb ram and dedicated GPU. Its surprisngly good for the price but the case and screen are mediocre. Battery performance and cooling system (very important for me) are very nice though and i even play easily cs global offensive on it. Its a good budget laptop deffinitelly one of the better ones. My only compaints are the hard drive which is slow (maybe i also need a format but it was never fast despite the CPU power) and that it doesnt have a USB 3.0 port. Also i would like abit more solid construction in the case. It squeaks abit and the lid is not that stable. But its nothing special its just that i wanted a more solid case. But for less than 600 euros i couldnt have everything and an i5 CPU right? :D

yes it is I have the same thing just with smaller hard drive just don't put too much stuff on the hard drive it slowed down minecraft a lot!

i got this laptop on black friday for $350 and its great. it can play aomost every game. it plays vindictus really good. team fortress 2, tera online, c9, apb reloaded, ect, only game i cant play its planetside 2

hey boss I also just purchased this very same laptop off the futureshop pre boxing day online sale.. I'm actually talking to you from it right now ;).. Other than the bilingual keyboard that wasn't in the pics future shop was advertising for this laptop which I'm really not a big fan of, everything seems to be working fine. I'm gonna get this next week , but how about over heating in games or something? Good cooling? I get Samsung NP350V5C-A04EE with Intel Core i3 2.4 ghz , Intel HD 4000 , 4 gb ram 1600 mhz , win 8 64 bit. And i get it quite cheap . It cost about 490 Eur.

@sivasubbusn I just bought one today and had the exact same problem. This is how to fix it: control panel (view by small icons) - device manager - network adapters - Intel wireless... Then in the advanced tab set "802.11n mode" to "disabled". Set "wireless mode" to "802.11b/g". I ran speedtest before and after this change and my download speed jumped from 0.07Mbps to 6Mbps

I have same computer but with a overclocked i5 with 8gb of ram but if you are just watching videos with a lot of tabs you will be fine, and if i don't have heat problems with a i5. It can get warm if your playing a pretty demanding game like crysis. With what you want to do the i3 would be more than enough.
