Perfect !!! My Samsung LCD was not turning ON. all i did was unplug the cable from the power point and plugged back after 60 seconds and i was able to turn ON. please note you have to unplug the cable and not just turn off the power switch.

Thanks for making this video. Worked for me. My menu was a little different but I clicked the return button then saw the reset option. Reset then tv powered off. I powered on and then was able to see my wireless router and put in the password. Worked great.

For reset, you can hold the EXIT button for 10 seconds and it will do the same thing

thank you Tampatec, I appreciate your support, I connected a DVD player, also mi Xbox 360 console and the result is the same, a brightly green color on screen, I unplugged the power code from the TV as well from the wall, and then I connected back the pwer but, saddly I see the same green color on my screen, my model is LN40A530P1FXZX it's a 40" LCD samsung. Hi Tampatec. Really good video. I have a Samsung LE40A656AIF tv. Bought in 2008. Before i saw your video i put in code MUTE - 1 - 8 - 2 - POWER (which i now know was incorrect code) I should have put your code. My problem is that my screen cannot be read. It looks as if the screen is rolling? Any idea what has happened. I tried factory reset but this does not work. I tried switching it off? I would really appreciate your help.

Easy method is while the tv is on press and hold exit on the tv remote for 12 seconds then select ok on reset no chance of messing up anything in the service menu. And for the pin try 1234

Tampatec - Hello. I have a problem.. I have a Samsung LN32A450C1Hxxx TV. It was in the hotel mode i got it. I used the tech code and rturned OFF the Hotel feature. So far perfect. Thanks for the great onfo. I have been using the TV for weeks until I decided to reset to the Factory Reset. Trouble .... The TV reset to the hotel options and now the TV will not turn off for me to reset with the "182" code which needs to be done on a plugged in TV, but no ON. Any thoughts? Thank you in advance. AJ

samsung syncmaster t240... combined this video with another to do a reset, as this engineer code didnt work for me, and another fix directed me to menu and select plug and play which was greyed out.....switch monitor onto 'tv' mode(even though UK has no analogue channels anymore) and the greyed out ''plug and play'' option is now active, from there you can access the reset/ store mode home mode option....

Yeah! I did a factory reset, it turned the picture upside down and I then had to buy a service remote to get into the next level of the service menu. So if you are going to do this, do not be surprised if your tv does that!

if you have a clicking tv try pressing the power button on the actual tv and holding it down for around 12 seconds until it forces it on, also [power OFF - info - menu - mute - Power ON]

Hi, first off I hope you are doing good. Now to the point; I have a samsung LCD series 4 TV and I wanted to try out a Kinyo PW 8899 wireless headphones, which didn't work out. The headphones equipment and the TV are in good condition however when I plug in the RCA cables into the TV and the other end into the transmitter no sound from the TV comes out, I tried muting the TV and the channel changing in the headphones. Any ideas I could use? By the way the instruction manual from both equipment did not help. Thank you in advance.

I can’t get into the service mode any longer. This Samsung DLP HLT5687 in the Off/Standby mode has all lights blinking. The red LED blinks once, two green and whitish blue under the power button blink twice. The unit turns on, but blinking lights while off non-stop. What does that mean?

hi I have a PS42a410C Samsung Plasma which has only channel up/down and volume up/down and power working on the remote control. Seems all buttons on TV don't work either. Prob is any of the number buttons activates the power so the service menu code gets to the first number and turns the set on. I have tried others like holding Exit down for 5 seconds but none work. I am wondering if you have any magic that will crack this one as I'd love to connect my chromecast to it. Cheers

I was wondering if I could get your advice? I have a Samsung series 5 plasma and here within the past few months, it started having a light purple horizontal band appearing upper mid screen. It looks like almost like a brush stroke across the screen and appears off and on, mostly on light colored screens. I have noticed recently that horizontal band has vertically gotten wider. Is there a way to do a factory reset with no image at all (and no sound)? I'm not sure what happened with this TV, but it had other issues I planned to get back to (black vertical lines, far right) but now I get no image at all. The sound may be going to optical output, so I'd like to reset this completely to see if anything happens at all but it's hard with no image. Standby light comes on (and is getting the right voltage) and it responds to the remote, but no image. Really want to avoid guessing and replacing parts at random or electrocuting myself. Set is 2014 Samsung PN60F5350BF.
