Thank you!! I also stack. The control board to my 5.5 year old Samsung dryer died, the dryer won't turn off. Samsung and the BIG Box store have KNOWN about this faulty control board problem for YEARS--they don't stock parts and both keep profiting off of it. It's the second time I'm replacing a Samsung product that's under 6 years old. I'm reporting both to the Federal Trade Commission. In the meantime, I need a dryer. As much as I don't want another Samsung product, the washer is in fine shape, and I have to stack the dryer. Thank you for making this video!

Just install a new washer with my old Samsung dryer. The SKK8K is backward compatible with all previous Samsung older model which is nice.

I suggest taking some Dramamine prior to watching this video. If the swaying back n forth doesn’t make you nauseous, I’m sure, the way he says “SKK 8k7k “ 18 times in the first 2 1/2 minutes will. And then he gives you a 3 minute break from the “SKK 8K7K” routine and then BAM!!! ..one last “SKK8k7k” at the very end for good measure! Haha. 😅 just having some fun. If you must have your dryer near your water heater/furnace, make sure to not use dryer sheets. This will protect the ignitors. I learned this the hard way.

@@tjtewshews5531 flame sensor rod gets coated with contaminates and fails. Cat litter also causes a similar effect. Sealed combustion chambers with outside air intake may prevent these issues.

@@tripcerberus4384 Thats good info to know now even before i moved my washer dryer near the furnace id always have to clean flame sensor bi yearly and always wondered what causes this. The furnace mans said mostly carbon and its normal but others i know with furnace’s never had this issue at all. I have a new furnace now so i will see but no sealed combustion chamber. My hot water tanks is like that but ive never had clean the flame sensor even on old one that was not sealed

I bought the same stacking kit model.. I have a 2 year old Samsung washer and it worked perfectly with my new Samsung dryer. You obviously used the wrong brackets. It comes with two pair. One for older models and one for newer models. It's funny how the stupid delivery guys didn't know either. I almost thought I was screwed until I decided to READ THE DIRECTIONS! LMAO!

I can't find this kit anywhere :( It looks to be the one I need.. I purchased the 7k and the holes don't match up with my dryer, the brackets are set too far back.

If the holes match up with your washer on on the on skk7a they should line up with a samsung dryer. The bracket does sit far back and then you push the dryer back onto it and screw in. The dryer is meant to over hang the washer on the back with these brackets. Also do you have manual for your washer? It will say which bracket you need to use. When did you buy your washer ? Did you buy it new?

About 78.5 inches. This will depend on your washer and dryer heights and leveling.
