Why do I need an data connection to use Notes now, I never had to before, it won't let me use my locked notes. Sync is off, Is this seen by other user?

Did the last update for anyone else's s24s make the rcs srop working? My ultra and my parents pluses both went to verifying phone number. I am trying the having it turned off for 7 business days, but I turned it off last Wednesday

Thanks Jeff, Problem I'm have is Verizon is ending Message plus so I'm starting to use Message from Google and I sent it and it fails not all the time but 90%, Message plus sending mms and Google sms I don't get it???🤔

human if u read my comment know this, i only do x.1.1 updates because they come with the biggest amount of bug fixes. I keep my s24u on 6.1.1 and all good. Generally dont update except if u face an issue ( if its not broken dont fix it ) but since i paid 1k€ for that phone ill update on every x.1.1 update to get the new features with the least amount of bugs. Thats not a Samsung thing all phones have bugs nothing is perfect and knowing wich one gives the most amount of bug fixes will just save u from frustration...

Be careful with lates up date my Galaxy Note 10 just locked up wouldn't accept update put my phone in a loop continuing the logo I was told phone was now locked a brick . So now I'm just getting a new phone S24 ultra lost all my data 😢

Unlucky. You may not have lost your data if you had auto backup to either Samsung or Google enabled! When you buy a new phone, you log into your Google or Samsung account and most things might load to the new phone. If you follow channels like this that give tips on most aspects of the phones, backup may have been covered. I regularly backup to my T7 SSD drive and sometimes to a USB-C SanDisk Dual Drive. The Note 10 didn't have microSD storage expansion, so obviously everything is internal.
