Samsung Washer Shakes During Spin Cycles (after adjusting lock nuts and leveling machine)

There is No solution to Samsung Washing Machine vibration. People say: 1 - Remove Shipping Bolts 2 - Balance it 3 - Change Shocks But the main problem is....it's Samsung. Total garbage product. I had to change the motherboard on it too. By the time it got diagnosed and I changed other parts to get error code out....it cost me 1/2 new washer price. Finally I have moved houses and again stuck with Samsung. Damn thing vibrates again. I wish I had a 1980's Hoover washer my parents had....Zero problem for decades.

Your suppose to take the lock nuts off when u buy them that’s only to help stop the drum from moving around and causing damage when it’s going from shop to home

Yes we did! The problem was obvious but we just couldn’t get it! My husband went thru the Manuel n realized that he did not remove the “ protective travel bolts” if i May call it so, four of those actually! And now my washer works so quietly you wouldn’t know until u hear the END music playing... still vibrate but nothing big, just the expected little shaking...

ATTENTION!!!! 5 Bolts! In the new machines (Dryer+Washer) there are 5 shipping bolts. In the old models there are only 4. So the technicians/installers sometimes misses the fifth bolt (located at the top of the back, near the water exhaust pipe).

Did you fix this?
@kotmic6 жыл бұрын
No. No fix. Transport bolts were removed prior to install and my plumbers tinkered with balancing machine for well over an hour. Still no better. I filed a warranty claim and Samsung sent a guy out to look at it. He said right away "this is normal". I told him that I've witnessed other Samsung washers that don't shake as much as this, and I further added that the plumbers' who installed my washer and who have much experience installing Samsung (and other) washers said there was DEFINITELY something wrong with my machine - that it was shaking far too much. His response was "machines shake more when on hardwood surfaces". He suggested I buy some rubber pads for anti-vibration and anti-walking (I already had the pads but had not installed them). Basically there was nothing that he could do to help the shaking, so he left. After installing the rubber pads, my machine stopped 'walking' but the heavy vibrations or shaking continued. I suppose I could make another claim, but they're just going to say the same thing without any fix. So I am stuck with a loud rumbling shaky machine and I pray that the shaking doesn't cause cracks in my new walls, crown moldings, and base boards. I will try posting another video with rubber pads to show machine still shakes. You should have replaced my machine, Samsung! Mine is a lemon!

There are a lot of new Samsungs that have this problem and no good reason for it. Some of the new machines spin up to 1500 rpms, which is far more than is needed and can even damage some delicate clothes. Set your washer to medium spin, which should be more than adequate and hopefully will tide you over until you get get rid of the Samsung, which are the worst appliances I've seen. There is a graveyard of Samsung fridges, washers, dryers and dishwashers that look great and are barely good for parts selling or being given away on kijiji. We have a 9 yr old Kenmore Elite HE3t and it only so far does that at high spin (which is 1050 rpm) when I washed a large bulky comforter. That's apparently one of the main culprits to cause a balancing and vibration issue. Regular, well sorted loads, set at medium spin have no issue. We just bought it used for $400, so my next regular load I'll try at high spin and see if it makes a difference. If it's just comforters that give me high spin issues, I can live w/ that. My sister has a Kenmore Elite HE2 set, 16 yrs old and counting. balanced).
@Airguitarfooker4 жыл бұрын
I have a Samsung, washer/dryer combined from 2019. Front loaded. Vibrates a lot when doing spin cycle and moves 1-2 cm on the last one. All bolts removed, machine is leveled properly.
@saintejeannedarc94604 жыл бұрын
@@Airguitarfooker My condolences. My 9 yr old Kenmore Elite that we bought for $400 w/ matching front load dryer is fine now. Sometimes vibrates on high spin w/ a clunky comforter in it, so we just turn that down to medium spin speed and it's fine. It doesn't move but will vibrate the floor pretty good when unbalanced. These front loaders have balance censors at least, so it will slow and try and rebalance again so it won't walk.
@Airguitarfooker4 жыл бұрын
@@saintejeannedarc9460 Thank you for your answer. This Samsung model I payed over $800 dollars for. Two weeks old. I have vibration pads under it, and will try using it without them. The machine can take 8 kg of clothes, I guess I haven't been loading it with even over 5 kg. Could be a manufacturing problem. Do you believe that plenty of Samsung machines experience this issue? Max RPM-spin I've been using is 1200. I could lower it, but should this even be necessary for a machine in this price class?
@saintejeannedarc94604 жыл бұрын
@@Airguitarfooker It's extremely common for new Samsungs. They make the worst appliances. 1200 is very high. If you have the choice to turn it down, that should keep the vibration and walking down. Mine spins clothes very dry at medium.
