This was honestly super helpful! I've been looking at getting the flip 5 but super hesitant because of the camera. I currently use note 20 ultra and have a habit of taking full moon photos and enjoy the incredible zoom the camera has, which I know won't really be possible with the flip 5. That aside, I'm not a heavy phone or camera user anymore and it might be a good chance for me to try something new again after being a long time note series user (which was also quite a change back then!)

First, this is a great review. Q: Is the editing software different between these devices? I have the Flip 5, & I can't find the way to delete people & other things from an image, as I've seen done on the S23.

I'd suggest keeping the s23 ultra unless you really enjoy the flipping of the flip 5... The biggest issue I face with the flip is the battery being significantly worse than the s23 ultra...

Hello my friend... congratulations for another great comparison! I noticed you emphasize the problems in the Ultrawide of the S23 Ultra, but I believe that Ultawide is one of the smallest problems, because, during the day and in terms of macro, it is one of the best on the current market, at least in terms of results, and honestly I think it's crazy to use ultrawide at night... I think that in my entire life, with about 30 to 50 thousand photos taken, maybe I actually opted to use the ultrawide at night 3 to 5 times and of these, I think 2 or 3 could have been taken with the main. Now, a big problem that you see is the noise in the photos, and this is something that Samsung needs to deal with in terms of sensors, and of all cameras, however much they sometimes manage to reduce noise well, it is one of the flagships that generates the most noise in the photos... even during the day. Tip: There was a huge update for the s23 Ultra that greatly improved the night mode and all intermediate zooms between 1 and 20x... you could make a comparison in terms of zoom quality. Almost 1 month without your videos... nice to see you again... you do a great job... big hug!

Time to redo this since we got the improvements on the s23 ultra with the camera in the latest update from yesterday and today. Big improvements imo so test it again.

I will take a well optimized 12mp camera over the raw flagship cameras any day. Coming from the 12 mini to the s23 ultra was a pretty disappointing experience for any pictures that I didn't use zoom for.
