I love my Flip 6. One UI is awesome and has become very polished. The cover screen, while being smaller than the competition, is straight forward and doesn't mislead with "overall screen size" and shows you exactly what is usable (Motorola and the other competition has the cameras in the way and you have to condense the screen to use the parts that's blocked off). And also, the upgrades from the 5 made this a no brainer for me. I may expect more from the Flip line next summer but this was a good iteration.

The Z Flip6 isn't just "different" than the primary flagships -- it's smaller and more convenient in many ways. The S24 Ultra is a huge brick in comparison. There's no point in doing a review of a folding phone if you don't really acknowledge the importance of that factor. Also, the notion that everyone on earth needs the most powerful camera system technologically possible seems dubious to me. In fact, the "good enough for most people" threshold was probably reached a couple of generations ago. Finally, on pricing, watch for discounts and promotions. Amazon had (has?) a great special on the Flip6 that included an extra 256GB of storage for free plus a $200 Amazon gift card, i.e., a rebate. That effectively reduced the price to $899.

yeah youtubers often fail to acknowledge the fact that people are drawn to foldables because of its compactness and form factor. i mean who doesn’t know you can get the best camera and (a little) better specs on candy-bar phones.but it’s not about those things…

I use Circle to search, check spelling and grammar, interpret, and record voice. They're quite useful. The Z Flip 6 is a great phone that is highly customizable and useful. The cameras are much better than the Z Flip 5 and better than my wife's iPhone. The battery lasts longer than the S24.

They will have to depend on companies like samsung and thats until samsung matures the technology more. A design has been leaked a long time ago i dont think they are ready to shop around for the conponents.

i mean iPhone 15 pro max ,a slap phone that is barely any different from 2 previous iPhones starts from $1200. i think $1100for Z flip 6 is not that bad for a foldable and TBH, Samsung been doing deals and promotions, i never met someone who paid a full price for galaxy without getting anything.

It's not dust resistent. IP48 means that it only is resistent against particles bigger than 1mm. Dust is much smaller
