This video helped me so much! I’m a cisgender male and in the past few years I’ve gone through a lot of health problems. Based off this video I’ve realised it’s possible I have a hormone imbalance. I just made an appointment to see my doctor and get my testosterone levels checked. An unusual outcome from your video haha but I’m very appreciative.

I love that you are not just speaking to the male transgender experience but to the realities of being a guy in general. So many women think that guys have it easy when it comes to secondary sexual characteristics ("It sticks out and rubs on your cloths, and it's really sensitive! I laughed out loud....affectionately.....at that one.) and hormonal changes. No gender has a monopoly on difficult changes and strange issues. Then there is the male tendency to never speak about our difficult body issues, which doesn't help. I do, and I can't count the number of times I have explained male body challenges and had a woman say, "I had no idea you guys go through that!" We are all alike in having challenges associated with our biological manifestations of gender, even if the manifestations are different. Thank you so much, Sam, for speaking for all of us too-often reticent guys!

@Sam Switz, I rarely use the term "adorable" to describe a man, but you are most definitely adorable! This video showed up in my feed, and it was a delight. I have said for years that Joy is one of my personal favorite forms of Prosperity so seeing your JOY sign was a beautiful surprise. Finally, I appreciate you taking the time to share what some of the cons to taking Testosterone are. Because I AM currently fifty, there have been times when I have considered it, or, at the very least, have wanted to talk to my doctors about whether or not I need it, or if I would benefit from it, and if that ever happens, now I know what to expect. Be well, and may you always have Luck and Love in your life.

Thanks for sharing. I find really interesting how you can describe what testosterone makes to you . I think you could clarify men and women the differences between each other and why we men behave in certain ways. You should read the story of Tiresias, he is part of the Greek mythology, he was once a woman and helped solve a dispute about men and women among Zeus and Minerva. You have both views.

Raphael Dububuchim because you have a lot of testosterone than an average female, which also a contribution to you being a transman.
It's only out of control because they "respect women" and demand what they want for fear of appearing to be "using and degrading" them. In reality women don't care about that, they WANT to feel wanted and desired, and that proves it.

Throat tightness is one of the ancillary morphological responses of a fully aroused cis-gender male, when we are experiencing strong physical desire. Perhaps the testosterone experiences in FTM bodies is related in some way to that specific aspect. Is throat tightness something expressed in cis-gender females as an aspect of arousal in the same way as males? I don't know, honestly...

the clitoris has 3000 nerve endings more than a penis so.... if yours is bigger and longer, it's now more exposed than it was. I can just imagine how that much more sensitive it must be. The aggressive change happens for most ftm's I've talked to. The libido has changed as well. They don't mention any of this when they hand you the prescription for T. As a man who has to take testosterone supplements I'd like to make a few comments on this video. First of all testosterone is an extremely extremely strong hormone. It has a much stronger effects than estrogen and the effects appear much more rapidly than estrogen. With that said I noticed that you made a comment about taking your shot and going to bed. I'm assuming that you're talking about taking a shot of testosterone cypionate which is testosterone in an oil base. This form of testosterone supplementation has really fallen out of favor because it gives you wildly fluctuating amounts of testosterone. The testosterone pump is the preferred method of testosterone replacement because it gives you the same regular dose of testosterone every single day so you have none of the highs and Peaks. You mentioned a couple of side effects but I wanted to comment on. Not all people on testosterone get male pattern baldness. Not everyone taking testosterone will get hair on their chest or their back. You mention to the smell and that is one of the side effects of testosterone because you are overall more oily and you will sweat more when you are on testosterone. My last comment is a caution: : testosterone is not to be taken lightly or without a doctor's supervision. It can have some very serious and sometimes deadly side effects. We all know that men die earlier than women had a lot of that has to do with testosterone. Make sure you know all of the risks before you undergo testosterone therapy because there are many. Good luck to you and I hope that your transition goes very well

still wondering about how the shirtless thing is being celebrated as something one is finally able to do after transitioning ftm. because in germany someone published a video admitting that they only transitioned ftm in order to get rid of the sexist disadvantages and not because they were trans. and i think that not being able to go shirtless unbothered is one of these disadvantages.
@Tnowion4 жыл бұрын
@Jerry Donohue actually it was a good guess. yet, one would need technical knowledge for that. just having a dick can get you up faster but you still have to walk on your own.
@Tnowion4 жыл бұрын
@Jerry Donohue i don't think you live in reality. yes, quotas are being put in place but that does not make the staff 50% female. and they are not being put in place everywhere. in a few professions in a few countries. but these quotas obviously don't apply to parlaments, parties or inheritance of money, land and company ownership. or college funding by parents. and often they aren't even checked. they try to change the ratio with this stuff, but as long as desks are being built for people of male height, as long as sciences are being tought at the age at which boys are most interested in it, in the way that boys are interested in it, as long as healthcare focuses on the wellbeing of men, as long as cities are being built for the needs of men, as long as unpaid and lowly paid family work is pushed onto women, as long as family planning and abortions get forbidden and structural abuse and murder of women is tolerated by the law, they will have the disadvantage. nothing a minimalist tweaked thought in your brain can make unhappen.
@Tnowion4 жыл бұрын
@Jerry Donohue if you prefer to live your life in selfpity despite being the demographic with more privilege that is your choice. men have tons of problems, i know, guess what, they talk about it a lot. all the damn time. guess what, being privileged does not mean everything is being done for you. as i said above, having a dick is advantageous but you have to walk on your own. if people find the game is rigged and you profit from that it is your choice to whine about the game still being hard. but consider what light that sheds on you.
@Tnowion4 жыл бұрын
@Jerry Donohue i'm sorry that you have to experience this. but as a non-cis person you yourself don't even know what it is like to live as a cis-male. the empiric statistics that prove cis-male privilege are easily accesible and no "feminist propaganda". just look at the ratios of gender in crime. prepretators and victims have very distinct profiles, especially when it comes to sexual violence. as a trans- or intersex person you of course don't fall into the privileged part of the statistic. feminism is still good for women and men. and for nonbinary people as well. because when gender inequality fades, the whole importance of which sex you are drops. and that makes everything easier.

I have to say that if I didn't know you were F2M then I'd swear you were born a male. I've gone through the mid life change being 56 now-less estrogen being produced I thought-but I took OTC stuff. Come ti find it wasn't needed. Sam-I go through hot flashes. Go from being covered up to being hot. It's rough. I have s dachshund who's a furnace-she lays next to me and makes me way too hot. You're handling things very well. I'm sure that your emotions are like a roller coaster. Pregnancy and the mid life change play with emotions too. Those are things men deal with on the daily, so when you suddenly have the massive increase in testosterone that you are not use to it is to be expected. So odd to hear what testosterone does to someone who didn't ave it before or as much...being a guy & hearing this is like ...WOW so it REALLY IS the testosterone and NOT ...ME... I mean I joke with my male friends when they complain about being..under-sexed or feeling TOO sex oriented I joke with them and say ..."It's the testosterone"....I also blame testosterone when they complain about just doing stupid sh*t or being d*ck...or being crass....or being boyish...etc etc... The list of f*cked up Sh*t is LONG! and I seemed to always know it was testosterone or just being male! And this video kinda confirmed my suspicions! The good news is guys ...it really IS how nature makes us...naturally f*cked up! so when you go to meet your maker to discuss all the f*cked up sh*t you did ....well now we know what made all that possible! LOL. It's a struggle I have to say the worse about all of things mentioned in this video is the anger EVEN with testosterone from BIRTH I don't understand where or why the ANGER! I don't think I got a lot of it but I do think anger is generated from testosterone as suggested in this video! I don' t know WHY nature would want to make anyone just angry for no reason & I think that is really ... just not cool because it can lead to that being taken out on someone ALSO for NO REASON! I really don't appreciate that one at all & I think my testosterone levels are not reaching anger levels though perhaps the thinking of sex is more the norm. I love being male but I DO think we got the short end of the stick somehow! Thanks for sharing! .
@Ella-kn9qd4 ай бұрын
Don't worry about it, nature makes you angry and have urges for no reason, and nature makes us girls emotional for no reason and bleed for no reason lol nature really isn't on our side as humans. The hormonal emotions make us girls say/do some dumb stuff too, especially say some dumb stuff. I bet most relationships end just due to either the girls or guys hormones essentially, it's the hormones that ruin everything
