Just heard a piece of his for the first time, on Sirius XM, and I thought I was hearing a piece by Price. But listening to this beautiful piece here, I see there's not really that much similarity- maybe just that the 2 composers were from a similar era, even though Florence was American and Samuel was British.

A pleasant enough piece ...but once is quite enough . His work is played far too often now , to the exclusion of many other romantics of his time . I did a search just to get the full range ; well worth a visit and a listen , but to say he is underappreciated is an exercise in hyperbole , and nothing more .
