The Siu lim Tao tribute to Ip Man at his gravesite was an honorable gesture which was done with dignity and respect for a great Martial Artist. Applause.

Just curious, of all the places where one can 'show' his wing chun, but why cemetary? 🤷

I think what he did was inappropriate and disrespectful for the deceased..for the sake of getting more credibility for his Wingchun method.
@LegendArry50sBluenose4 жыл бұрын
Master Kwok meant no disrespect for Grandmaster Ip Chun. I slowed down the video to enable students to learn correct form. If you are in contact with the descendants of Grandmaster Ip Chun and you KNOW they are unhappy, ask them to contact me and I will immediately remove it.

What was disrespectful about that?

Wasn’t he taught for a bit of time by Ip Man
@LegendArry50sBluenose3 жыл бұрын
@@SUF-py4ix Yes you are correct Lee. in 1978 Master Kwok began private tuition from Ip Chun and after gaining Master level in Wing Chun, he opened his first school in Hong Kong and it was not long before his students began making a name for themselves at tournaments and demonstrations in the colony. When returning to the UK, in 1981 he was appointed chairman and senior overseas representative of the Ip Chun Martial Art Association by Grandmaster Ip Chun so he was showing reverence to Master Ip Chun here.
