I got to work with Kat Williams on the TV Show, “The Last OG” starring Tracy Morgan. It was just one episode and it took a week to shoot. In that course of time I had to tread carefully and play my position. I was working with Comic Genius, Tracy Morgan, Kat Williams, Lonnell (a Very Talented Woman with a Great personality) oh, that’s right, I was on set with the Late Great Mr. John Amos(RIP) let’s see there was JB Smooth and Directed by Robert Townsend (sp?). I played “Cousin Mo”, 😂🤣😂 I had a few lines and interacted with Tracy, it was an amazing job. Anyway, I think it was the middle of the week and Mr. Williams was outside and as he was walking past me, I very respectfully asked him to take a quick Picture. He graciously complied and I took a picture. I’ve learned to mind my own business when I work because you never know when a co-worker with a more visible presence than you may be having a bad day or they just aren’t too friendly. Mr. Williams was rather reserved and to himself. The man had a full length pink (or another bright color) mink coat and he had no problem wearing it with his signature confidence. Yeah, that was a cool gig. Right before the pandemic hit in 2020. I wish Mr. Williams nothing but the best.
