A very strong supporting cast, with an ongoing, always topical story. I became somewhat overwhelmed by the leading lady's character "Claudia" played by Veronica Sixtos. Interesting story, too dramatic to live around the border. Crime is every where in the world. Borders are not different than any other place. I love big cities because it makes me feel safe. Great acting, Ricky reminds me of Freddie Mercury.

Fabulous! IMDB gives it a 5.5. Unbelievable. What idiots. This is one the best movie I've seen in a long time (and I watch way too many movies). The directing is especially meticulous yet never gets in the way of the flow of the story. I so wish more Hispanic people would get involved in the movie business, both in front of and behind the camera. They bring SOOOO much to the table simply because many have experienced a wide gamut of emotions, even when young, and they can draw from these experiences to bring a movie to life in ways few others can. And let's thank the producers who had the courage to have faith in this project. Ignore the morons out there who don't appreciate good movie making. You people NAILED it on so many levels. There is so much drivel on KZbin that is so painful to endure. Then this comes out. A true diamond, polished to the max.

Excellent and very poignant movie. Even though everyone acting has a plot-line, it runs like a documentary, closely documenting the hard life struggles of living and surviving life both on and off a ranch deep in the Mexican desert, up until the plot thickens between Claudia and Ricky.
