That book is honestly one of my favorite books of all time (and I read a lot of books, including a lot of what would be considered 'literature'). Every time I watch the opening scene of the movie (or hear the soundtrack) I still choke up a bit when I remember: A pair of starfighters. Jedi starfighters. Only two. Two is enough. Two is enough because the adults are wrong, and their younglings are right. Though this is the end of the age of heroes, it has saved its best for last.

I wouldn't say darkness always wins. Real world proof would be the fall of the Nazi's - many empires and kingdoms have done horrible things, but I can't think of one so stereotypically evil such as them. I wouldn't have been born if they had won.

The music at the end of Episode 6 always seems to get me feeling emotional, more than anything else from Star Wars. A happy sad feeling, and a fair bit more visceral than some of the more epic scores like Dual of the Fates or even the Force theme. Thank you so much Samuel Kim, you don’t know how much this means to me as this was always my favorite and best ending of Star Wars. This theme gives me goosebumps and so much emotion and this is so much more better. Even the added ending of ROTJ is just awesome. ROTJ is my favorite SW movie.
