Don't worry I was super sceptical of them too when they first approached me. I questioned Kai about the whole fiasco that went down 2 years ago, as I was very curious how things went down on their end. Apparently they reformed their business all the way from the ground up again since then. So... I was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt. If their service still turned out to be shit, I would have torn them apart in the review, seeing how they stated I was allowed to give my honest opinion (trust me, I hate shitty proxy services (hence why I avoid companies like Buyee. Have heard some pretty nasty stuff about them too)).

@@coolstuffgaming Again, I've never used them myself, so I can't confirm, but last time I read some reviews about them I heard a lot about hidden fees and poor packaging. Perhaps they've changed though. Personally I've only ever used ZenMarket, WhiteRabbitExpress, NeoKyo and (now) Samurai Buyer.

Ok, THANK YOU for making this video. Jaiden made this video a long time ago, and I found out the truth( the whole scamurai buyer thing), then I searched all the relevant stuff, BUT the stuff that I found is like 2 years old. I saw Kito Senpai made a video about samurai buyer, and his pinned comment told us to not watch the video anymore(cuz it is not relevant anymore),and he stopped commenting right there, but I wanted more explanation! Then I found your video. Then the whole" I don't need sleep, I need answers" inner self had gone away because your video sorta explains it, but still, a huge relief cuz I was trying to find answers on the web. I'm glad you still enjoyed it! And I've luckily gotten way more comfy showing my face on cam, but it's mostly the comments/reactions that kinda scare me. And maybe, though for now the eyes are the main thing that made me abandon this design for videos. They just take too much time.

@@Yuunarii you're welcome to not believe me but i truly like your content, specially the Livestreams. It's very chill in a unique way for me, so I hope you continue for many years to come. That said, you know trolls will always look for people to mess with so when they do show up, try to ignore em, they just wanna ruin your day but what they say is not true, still make irl when you actually feel comfortable enough to do so. And as for the design of the character, I know I've already said this but i think making premade assets could really help you out imo. Still, the old design was good too and at the end of the day either one will do :D

I'd love to see more videos about proxy shopping services tbh. Though there's a part of me that kinda wants to see what a "bad" proxy service is like as well... Maybe a video on potential warning signs/red flags, if that's something you feel confident talking about? Either way, great video as always!

As someone who got scammed over a hundred dollars in service fees alone from them, DO NOT BUY. I kept asking them to condense my order and was rejected as well as the minimum shipping is only EMS ($20) no matter how big. I ordered lots of small things not knowing this and it was either let my $100+ go to waste or pay $20 more PER ITEM. It broke my trust with online services. You might be thinking: it’s your fault for not doing the research or asking ahead of time!?! I did actually and was told yes we can. Issue was that didn’t apply for auctioned items apparently but was never stated when I asked. This question is/was NO WHERE to be found on the website explaining and didnt appear if you searched it up online. If you want japan goods or anime things order from AmiAmi, Mandarake, or another more trusted proxy at least. **watched more of the video and I see they changed shipping which is good however seeing them I assume knowing I wasn’t about to give $400 in shipping for a bunch of keychains I lost money to them without any sort of compensation

Thanks for the video. What's a good way to undervalue items? 50%? I doubt the EU-customs will believe a declared value of under 22€ to avoid them completely when it comes to parcels from Japan. The shipping fees alone will push it above that threshold.

I mean depending on what you buy, you won't have to worry too much. Just don't lower a parcel that's worth like.. 100K+ yen to like 2400 yen. Also shipping luckily is not included when calculating taxes. Or at least, it has never been included in any of my parcels that I've send.

Do you have any experience with their auction services? They told me I was the highest bidder for an auction and then said I lost the auction. I messaged them but they are off hours now. But I also found Neokyo to be a good one if you wish to purchase from shops like Mercari, Otamart and Frill (Japanese online market places. Think eBay, but with a purely Japanese userbase). I've used them about 3 times before and they pack their stuff pretty well. Beyond that WhiteRabbitExpress is also really good when it comes to service (used them once), but quite on the more expensive end of proxy services.
