There's a channel called The Cosmonaut Variety Hour, and in his review of the series he pointed out something about the fight scenes that made me realize how cool they actually are. When Jack is against the odds, outnumbered by his foes and unequipped, the room he's in is filled with shadows, causing the viewer to experience the same sense of claustrophobia and stress Jack would feel in that scenario. However, in this fight scene, the area Jack and the Sisters are in is a white field, and white is Jack's signature colour. In this scene, Jack is completely in control, aware of his surroundings, and the Sisters don't stand a chance.

The pure symbolic art that went behind the first fight with them and this one. The first was dark with little light, representing both the fact the Daughters had an avantage over Jack, and Jack's lost of "light" or his giving up on hope of achieving his goal. Here, in all/mostly white, he has regained the upper hand and some of his drive to survive.

@@Josue-xd5ru Very similar to GoT not having enough episodes either, except Samurai Jack turned out far better
@NCHaskew5 жыл бұрын
This may sound pretentious, but I think that's kinda meant to reflect Jack's journey. Season 5 starts dark, gritty, and mature while Jack is at his all time low. As he makes his way back to being the Samurai, it kinda tones back down to the original show. As for the ending being rushed, I think there are some things to be said for that. I know a lot of people wanted more time on the final battle, but honestly, once Jack finds out he can go back to the past, he has no reason to stay. Beating Aku in the future doesn't matter. I think the world going back to normal after Aku's defeat could be seen as rushed, but I think that also is meant to reflect the first episode: Aku's attack and Jack's training is all covered incredibly quickly. Personally, my only big complaint is how drawn out Ashi's disappearance was. They defeat Aku, prep the wedding, and she doesn't disappear until she realizes Aku is the reason she exists? That felt like lazy writing to get a tearjerker ending. But besides that, I personally think the show did phenomenal.
