We saw him the first time going against the beetlebots with armor years ago and we see him now going against the beetle bots with a similar kind of armor from before. Way to start the season with some nostalgia. Instead of a horse mount tho, he has a motorcycle mount.

If he did that, then the 3,000 years of literal galaxy-spanning suffering Aku caused would be permanent. There is no time paradox. As soon as he went back and destroyed Aku, he erased that timeline. All of the same characters could be born again in that same time period, but Aku's influence would be completely gone and their chances of living better lives are essentially 100%.
