Doesn't matter if Gateway of the Six remains at 1. The deck relies heavily on what happens to gateway, it either goes to 3 or remains irrelevant.

Gateway really only matters first turn. After that whether it gets destroyed or not doesn't really matter. The whole point is to vomit out all your boss monsters turn 1.

Those have always been six sams biggest weakness and having gateway at 3 wouldn't fix that problem THAT much since you can only search 1 gateway per turn with battle shogun anyway, so most of the time it would be like gateway is still at 1 anyway

@@ssickhead1 If Gateway goes to 3x, we can also turbo it out via cards like Upstart Goblin, Chicken Game, and into the void. Imagine how much easier it will be to win games if we draw into 2x gateway?

With Saryuja that's the best bet but with my deck if it gets to the point i'm bring out saryuja i'm already well on my way to getting out all my best monsters with only the first gateway anyway

Double assault is pretty blatantly konami fixing Six Sam after they were made unplayable from Isolde getting banned. Now instead of summoning isolde to summon a samurai to add some counters to extend plays, you search Double assault of off sacing Instructor for Battle Shogun and then play that.
