SamSho is more entertaining for the player, rather than the spectator. Being in the heat of battle is what counts. This isn’t a button masher. It’s very rewarding when you adapt to the play style of this game. One mistake and it’s over in a blink of an eye.

Tam-Tam is far from OP and has always had this style of play. Tam-Tam is usually far from good in most games he's in and almost nothing has changed. People just don't know how to deal with it yet as this is a lot of people's first Samsho title. Honestly, Haohmaru is higher tier then Tam-Tam. Tam-Tam is not top tier. Haohmaru has great damage and range, cancelable f,f+MS, invincible DP, 8frame WFT that goes half-screen and hits aerial, a projectile reflect, a +on block projectile, and a 5frame f,f+LS that is huge and safe when spaced while also un-parryable due to being a punch and many other reasons. I just hope people give the meta more time to develop before the nerf hammer they cried for smashes characters that may have not even needed it.

I love samsho because it lacks combos. As I see, every combo briefly takes one player out of the game while the other plays against himself (and his execution). Don't get me wrong, I know combos are plastic and mainstream. But, for me (and I don't think I'm alone on this), the beauty is on the neutral game. Not combos, not resets, not mixups, not 50-50, not frame traps..... P U R E N E U T R A L!

Eu achei que ia achar o jogo merda pela velocidade, mas é muito interessante, cada golpe é um risco diferente que pode custar até a partida, é aí que o Samurai brilha, tem que saber tudo o que vai fazer e ao mesmo tempo prestar atenção em tudo o que o oponente faz. Eu acho sensacional assistir quem sabe.

5 Special was the peak of the series. 2 had the charm, 4 had the graphics, 5 Special had the deep balanced gameplay. Best fighting game ever made (5sp) and it's not even close. Last Blade 2, kof 98/2k2 next.

That's the Super Special Move (SSM). No meter requirement but you can only use once per match. Different from the Weapon Flipping Technique (WFT) which requires full rage bar or rage mode. The WFT deals way less damage but your opponent loses their weapon.

Samsho is pretty boring when you're watching, especially for KOF type comboholics. But it's very fun when you're playing as you have to be very caution before making any moves, just like a swords dual, one mistake would make you pay heavily. Something need to improve is the throw and pretty unbalanced, some characters are totally hopeless + useless and only less than 5 chars are really top tier competitive. The only best side is the artworks, so old school japanese style and very detail. This game is more an incredible art gallery than a good fighting game.
