Point Break has armor on the H version not all three versions.

I think it also has armor on the third stage of her M version as well, but definitely doesn't have any on all three stages of her L version

Great tutorial! Btw whats her best options off both forward throw and back throw. I know stand medium slash works. But can she always do a forward forward kick [drop kick] after a throw?

You can combo crouching M into High Tide (qcf K) from her F throw. Against certain characters you have to microwalk in order to do it. I usually opt to simply do the high tide instead of microwalking while I get the timing down.

You actually can: Back guard break and then micro dash into wft, I use it all the time

Compared to other fighters the combos in the game don't come across as very impressive. However, once you actually play the game and get a handle on it you quickly realise how dangerous and risky literally anything you do can be. Punishing in this game is brutal and if you don't panic those combos feel all the more satisfying when they connect.

I thought she was bad. I see she's got some stuff I can use. Didn't know about her super armor or invincibility frames or the fact that you could move using the qcb s special. They need to tell you that stuff in practice mode.

The beauty of fighting games is that most things have to be discovered. I like the fact that they give us the moves in practice mode but in my opinion it's up to the players to find different properties to the moves and use them to their advantage^^.

@@Akeran87 true. But those things we discovered weren't actually intended for us to do by the developers. It seems like something I considered common knowledge was hidden from us. It's one thing to find hidden properties, it's another thing to be made unaware of features.

A lot of her specials don't seem very useful, are unsafe and very situational. Man can't when on normals alone.
