I used to love using Tam Tams fireball move . I would relentlessly carpet bomb the hell out of opponents with that special movie.

I've always been curious about what inspired SNK to make a character like Tam Tam for this style of game.

@@SandovArt native indians dont have knowledge about metal how could tamtam have that machete
@juanjoserivasgarcia23364 жыл бұрын
SATANAS DEMONYO Just to clear, native South Americans haved knowledge about some metals since really old pre columbine cultures (like the Moche culture), growing all them at the coast and andean middle west from South America, with time, all Those cultures mixed up and turned into the Inca's , now Perú and a part from Bolivia. Even that, metals wasn´t commonly used to create weapons, you can found some of them, in form of maces or weird knife's called tumís for religious purposes as sacrifices, spear edges and some small axes. Instead they used it to create many kind of objects related to religion or for common routine use. Gold and Silver were apreciated and at the same time abundant at those cultures, but not as a richness symbol, thats an european concept. Cronist said the nobles and incas lords used weapons from gold and silver, but common warriors used alloys from gold, silver, tin, copper and lead. Now about Tam Tam, it seems the character is like a mix from the most striking details from pre columbine cultures.

Basically an amalgamation of different native cultures that uses post-Columbus weaponry.

I loved his howl whenever he won. What messed it up was they made him sound gay when Samurai shodown 3 made it's debut
@Bloodreign14 жыл бұрын
You say he sounds gay in SS3, but he didn't return till SS4. His sister, Cham Cham took over for him in SS2 as he was turned into a monkey (Paku Paku) for failing to protect his village's stone (Amakusa had possession of it) in the first game. Cham Cham returned for the PS1 port of Sam Spirits 4 (dubbed Special, and she can only be used in 2 player mode), and returned as a regular character for part 6.

Tam Tam is clearly inspired by Mayan or Aztec cultures. I don't know where you are seeing the Maori warrior.
