Having done stage fighting, I know how much work goes into it. These ladies, no doubt, spent many, many hours on this. Great job, ladies!

Completely emotive!!! I like the dance/choreography mixed with the saber/choreography (with very well studied details), same as the music, too. And obviously, the mystic essence about this historical Special Ops squad is excellent!!! Thanks a lot for sharing. Kind regards.

...That's kinda funny. I'm watching the video and I'm looking at the black-samurais' katana, and I look over from my desk, and that's the exact katana I have. Same handguard and everything xD

Came here thinking I'd see something Gintama related but this is even cooler! I imagine that Shinsengumi street battles really did take place in what Americans think of as *four-way intersections.* With people looking on, just like that. Fantastic show. Great dancers, and I kneel to the choreographer 🤩

This is reminiscent of the rondori practice in aikido, though very much choreographed. As a practitioner of both aikido and iaido it was a lot of fun to watch. Thanks.

Interesting how the ronin have a daisho, as presumably when a samurai becomes a ronin they just ditch the wakizashi and keep the katana.

From the sound, I would guess that they are using mogitou which are unsharpened aluminium zinc alloy and used for iaido practice. Also, it's illegal to carry shinken (sharpened steel katana) in public in Japan.
