I find it quite funny when the two Daimyo start panicking when they recognize the samurai standing before them is the Shogun. Like they immediately realize they are screwed as they made a mockery of themselves in front of the Shogun.

Just to explain for those unfamiliar.....when Yoshimune cut the hair of the two Daimyo, it was a form of extremely severe punishment. To allow another samurai to cut your hair in any contest (whether war, duel, etc.), is an ultimate humiliation and "loss of face". For a high ranking samurai, it also relates to losing one's social status in a disgraceful manner.
