The Guards were like WTF did you just say that the Shogun that's in front of us is a fake. You have to be extremely stupid to think an imposter Shogun can just walk into the castle without being stopped. It's a good thing the guards were smart on not following their new lord to commit treason. Yes it's treason as the idiot say the Shogun is an imposter then try to kill him with full knowledge of him being the Shogun. All the others that try to kill the Shogun when he reveal himself to be the Samurai that meddled in their plans also committed treason as going after the Shogun is treason. Those that attack him without knowing he's the Shogun aren't charge with treason as they don't know that he's the Shogun.
