I think this would look cool as an accent to the top of a ponytail, I'm even willing to accept it as all the way down a ponytail, but those pics look ridiculous

This looks tacky. Her braid didnt lay flat you put pins in for the wrong reason. Instead of using for decoration, you could have done something with that fishtail end.
