@13:80 (horizontal length) why not cut off length then use a thinning shear(invisiblend) ?

Thank you for the question. We find it is more efficient to cut the softer textured line first instead of creating a blunt line and trying to then diffuse the blunt line. But, if you are more comfortable with cutting blunt first that will work as well.
