I really hated anatomy when I first started it, I found it really confusing and barely understood a thing until one of my friends told me about your channel, I watched all the videos that are related to my course and took notes. By the end I got an A+! I can’t express how thankful I am ❤

Thank you! When I took AP 2, my teacher was more interested in her phone, than answering my questions in lab. You made this understandable and put pieces together for me. As an adult with Dyslexia, and just finding this out not to long ago. A&P can be a lot and textbooks are challenging. Much appreciated and lots of gratitude.

You are an excellent teacher! I am studying this at the moment and learned the adrenals are backup glands to the ovaries as well. The axis, HPT, HPA, OAT, HPG, HPS is what got me studying this system. I find it interesting that Chakra energy centers are exactly located in the same areas. The hormones associated with these pathways/axis are what I find most interesting. Thank you for such an excellent lesson on the endocrine system!

What a GREAT teacher. If mine had been as good as him, I probably would have been a surgeon instead of an airline pilot…………..

If the hypothalamus is separated from the pituitary, will pituitary hormones still be produced? Can the hypothalamus release hormones if the pituitary is damaged?
@SamWebster
@SamWebster Жыл бұрын
This can happen. The regulation of hormone secretion by anterior pituitary cells could be affected, or the release of hormones into the posterior pituitary could be lost. The hypothalamus and pituitary are connected by neurones and by blood vessels, and either can be injured. The neurones may die. See this case: casereports.bmj.com/content/2018/bcr-2018-226725

Hey Sam! And the THYMUS gland? Aren't you allow to talk about it!
@SamWebster
@SamWebster Жыл бұрын
I talked about it when talking about the immune system, but not as an endocrine organ. It does make a number of signals that are mainly involved in developing T-lymphocytes, but it doesn't stand out as an endocrine organ.

@@SamWebster I see. And soon no one will talk about it like it happens with the insulas and the importance that they have beyond "medicine". Well... Thy- "health" mus-t be control by pharmakia. Such is the spell.
@SamWebster

@@alantorres3818 We talk about the thymus whenever we talk about the immune system at this level. It's one of the primary lymphoid organs and is crucial to the development of a normal immune system. Scientists and immunologists studying the thymus talk about its cells and their signals in more detail, but I teach human anatomy.

@@SamWebster ... I know Sam. You may notice that after the plandemia the "medical profession" sunk to the point that thinking people see MDs as Medicine Dealers peddling the drugs of pharma and, is even worst to "immunologist and scientists", they're all under control. I like to think that you're not, and letting grow your hair will help you to gain consciousness beyond the dogma of scientism.
