We buy our models from Adam,Rouilly. Human anatomy is a collection of compromises and was not designed. The embryological development of this is very similar to other animals.

Sam Webster. This is so informative, thank you! I was diagnosed with pelvic congestion syndrome and had varices causing lots of pain in my (lower) pelvis. My left ovarian vein and right internal vein (including right pudendal and right obturator veins) were refluxing and I had pelvic vein embolisation done to close these veins. I have a question though - do you think that doing intense classical pilates, which focusses on strengthening the internal abdominal muscles and the muscles around the spine, can cause enough backpressure to cause the abovementioned varices? I am so much better now after my pelvic vein embolisation but I am scared to do pilates again as some venous surgeons say it might cause pelvic varices in susceptible individuals. In your knowledge and opinion, is it possible for abdominal muscles to push on these veins and exert so much pressure on the internal iliac veins and ovarian veins, that they can become varicose? I don't have any of the compression syndromes like Nutcracker or May-Thurner.

I would love to know a bit about my condition there’s nothing online! My colon and appendix have detached and connected to the top left of my colon 😢 waiting for an op they will remove my appendix then staple my colon back to the right hand side along with my bowel as there floating! My yummy is very swollen I look like I’m 8 months pregnant with all the swelling. Not been able to eat much for 2 months x😊
